I have a question why all these immigrants who are Canadian citizens never actually talk about Canada . They will bring topics about international students , refugees, what’s happening back home , they worry more about temporary residents than actual Canada .

very simple. Because , Canada is the land of immigrants and the day to day issues in Canadian society like international students, refugees etc impact them(by using taxpayer's money) directly or indirectly ( through welfare, healthcare, homelessness etc)
