@@ajmerdhillon3013 it's called correction + stagnation . This is the end of real-estate boom in canada . Property prices don't always goes up , it corrects and than stay stagnant for years.

It's still seller's market not buyers. Majority people are out of money it will take atleast 3 more years expect prices to come down more atleast 30% more and if construction of new homes start then supply will be in abundance. Right now people are affording house on rental market if immigration stops then we can expect dip upto 50%

Arvinder ji is a financial advisor and by listening to 14:02, I think he is mistaken that he doesn't understand what inflation is. Lowering/Slowing inflation means that rate of increase of price has reduced and not price reduction. Price reduction is called deflation

Rise in property prices is not good for the countries. The people having money invest for the passive income only by doing no work. Otherwise that money will be used for setting up industry or commercial units which will generate employment.

Still town houses with 3/4 BRs are listed at 7.5-,9 lac dollars which were sold by previous buyers at 50 percent price. Wages have not gone up commensurately.

It's basic human psychology fear and greed . Real estate prices always crash throughout history . In Punjab we have observed during 2004-2012 property prices appreciated 10 times and during 2012-2020 prices halved . Again the boom has started in 2022 and may stay till 2030 .

Amazing ,real estate always goes in 18 years cycle . It's a down cycle in the Canadian market It's totally opposite in Punjab . there the beginning of upcycle property prices in Punjab . Prices have doubled in the last two years and the mid term future looks bright for Punjab's real estate estate. We have seen 10 years of stagnant market in Punjab, the same will happen in canada . Mark my words in canada prices will fall further 20-30% and will stay stagnant for the next 10 years. Be cautious folks .

Prices of houses and interest rates are relative, if prices are at the level of 1980 can stand 18% interest rate but modern prices can not even afford 4% interest rate, if you think you can always jack up prices thats impossible so get ready for the disaster for housing. This all greed at the highest level.

Kalsi sahib 2.7% inflation mean prices went up by 2.7%. You are saying prices lower nahi hoye. Baba jee prices will go down if there is deflation. When inflation goes down it means prices are going up with less speed.
