Thanks sir, I will not cruise always at high speeds . Also this car is not designed for that .only for test condition. So this car cruises only at safe speeds . Yes always better to be under control..

I may have considered XL6 if it had been XL 7, The captain seats are a big minus for me, I needed a second row bench. It's better not to push this car to 140 kmph it's a people mover and I've encountered cows, dogs, people right in the middle of the national highways and it's split second decision. Better to maintain sane highway speeds. My choice was the Carens 1.5 turbo petrol DCT. It's feature rich has better space management and a comfy third row with adequate boot capacity with all rows up, very premium looking vehicle. My running is not that much so mileage is no issue and as the owner mentioned I've also upgraded from a 7 year old Honda City: just because my family has grown and we travel together mostly. Excellent interview, Birla, keep up the good work. Thanks to Satya for his insights into the XL 6. The one feature owner forgot to mention is the 360 degree camera that's a major plus in cramped environment to park and remove.

Sir took the same vehicle from Nexa -Alpha plus AT , Feb 2024 Red dual tone , excellent car , good Ac very suitable for long drive with family 6 speed automatic , the transmission is isin-Warner imported from Japan Good view in the front , feels like driving a SUV one problem intrinsic with ertiga and XL6 I observed was , after a long drive when the rear drum Brake heats up there is screeching noise of the brake callipers while breaking This issue I faced with my previous ertiga as well 2016 model AT -one more issue the day time running light is very bright good thing Apple car play wireless is available Best of luck for the Birla team , I always watch your videos

Car is heavily underpowered for its size. And also the 6 speed automatic struggles to keep up during long distance drives and also wouldn't support for quick overtakes in traffic within the city, too. Torque converters usually would give good power in the lower end of the rev range, but not able to understand how Maruti made the torque converter to become so sleepy in theri Grand Vitara and XL6. Test drove the Grand Vitara, and really felt very bad and not satisfied. Even Carens NA is better than XL6 interms of sufficient power, comfort and features. But if you can afford the DCT version with turbo, then that's the best 7 seater MPV you would practically need ( it even has a decent boot space, reclining 3rd row seats!! And a lot more practicality features )

2019 ல் XL6 கார் வாங்கி 30000 கிமீ ஓட்டிவிட்டேன். 3வது வாிசையில் 2 பெரியவர்கள் தாரளமாக உட்கார்ந்து போகலாம். 2nd Row Middle Seat வாங்கி பயன்படுத்துகின்றேன். நாங்கள் 5 பேருள்ள குடும்பம். 7 பேர் நாங்கள் தாராளமாக போய் வருகின்றோம். எனக்கு குறை என்று சொல்ல பெரிதாக ஒன்றும் இல்லை. தற்சமயம் வீல் அளவு மற்று Ventilated seat உள்ளது. எங்களுக்கு அந்த வாய்ப்பு இல்லை. Sun Room தேவை இல்லை. 14:05 நீங்ள் நன்கு வசதியாத்தான் அமா்ந்து இருக்கின்றீர்கள். 30000 கிலோமீட்டர் ஓட்டி முடித்து விட்டேன்.

Also my thought ly top varient (mine 16L, Dual Tone), carens huge coast.. I love to drive bro.. Bec my avg speed 80 to 100 ly, RPM under 2.3 to 2.7 la drive panna good mileage (21 coming).. Rendum drive panni parunga.. Features konjam kooda irukum carens la but athellam yenaku 1 wk nalla theriyum then we forget it.. 360 deg cam helping for reverse (think it not in carens)..

Very Honda City is different level, good high speed dynamics, i have honda jazz and i have overtaken XL6 and Etriga with ease effortless but they struggle in highways badly poor pickup and performance, jazz cornering is superb stability, you will have very good stability not in the case of maruti.. Since i owned 2 maruti before moving to honda...

இந்த வண்டியை பற்றி தெரியவில்லை.ஆனால் ertigaவில் long drive சென்றுள்ளேன்.அனைவருக்கும் முதுகு வலி வந்ததுதான் மிச்சம்.front seat தவிர middle மற்றும் கடைசி வரிசை அநியாயத்துக்கு தூக்கி போடும்.ஏர் pressure adjust பண்ணியும் சரி ஆகவில்லை.highwaysல் ஒவ்வொரு முறை bridge தாண்டும் பொழுதும் 80க்கு கீழ் கொண்டு வர வேண்டும். ஸ்டீயரிங் கன்ட்ரோல் 100 வரை நன்றாக இருக்கும்.honda city ஓட்டிய ஒருவர் இந்த டப்பாவை வாங்கியது ஆச்சரியம்தான்.

@@vivekvicky3497 what's your personal opinion after your usage...it's mileage?, Service cost, performance, city ride ...which model is worth for money...am planning to take 2nd hand...only fear is their are very less marazzo sold which is a worry and they are planning to stop this model...on long run, their could be a shortage of spares if it's stopped it's sales

Feel sorry for that owner. He must have felt that he is doing an upgrade from Honda City to Maruti XL6. Now he has no choice but to justify the purchase 😂. Owning the 4th Gen City as well as testing the 2022 XL6 extensively following hold true 1. Suspension and comfort of City is wayyyy beyond what XL6 can offer. Have done 550km non stop travel without breaking a sweat. 2. Performance of Honda City in 120+ cruise is extremely stable even during hard cornering. There is no way the XL6 can come even close. 3. The Honda City has built it legend around its fantastic iVTEC. The XL6 has a sorry excuse of an engine. 4. Fit and finish of Honda City is way ahead of XL6. The mid variant City was better than the highest Zeta variant of XL6. Be it the quality of the cabin, seats cushioning and comfort, buttons etc. the City is matchless 5. The Ground Clearance especially in the 4th Gen is decent. With a 16inch wheel profile the potholes are mostly taken care off. Only the nastiest and idiotically built speed breakers are a problem The only area the XL6 scores is having 1 additional seat as compared to City. So please don't misguide people with wrong details.

Oh....you are telling that xl6 is not stable at 120+? Me who have both 5g city and pre facelift xl6.... this guy only spreading wrong information and misguiding other buyers but telling other to don't misguide people 😂. xl6 is a good car for highways as well as city no denying that fact and we all city city is also good car there is nothing like this is more than that but xl6 has lower power output than city but that results you in getting a very good mileage than city. IF ANYONE IN DILEMA PLEASE 🙏 JUST DO TESTDRIVE AND CHECK THE CARS IN SHOWROOMS IN PERSON FOR YOUR BETTER EXPERIENCE THAN HEARING OR READING THINGS.

Adhukkunu 5 illana 6 per ah un Honda city la irukra 4 + 0.5 seater la dump panni drive panna mudiyuma??😂🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️.. Not speaking about H.City, all the sedans, hatchback & suv. The basic idea of 6/7 seater cars are designed for a big family. Those who have a min. budget they would prefer XL6/ertiga/carens. If high budget , they would go for innova too.

Sir Never ever compare Honda with Maruthi tin cans... Honda is meant for their excellent build quality fit and finish and driving dynamics and comfort and moreover we cannot compare the Steering feedback of Honda cars with Maruthi cars as birla sir has very good experience with Steering feedback of Maruthi cars...
