Same problem happen to me I bought panasonic it's support 100v to 290v and my input voltage 150v there is no cooling and I checked with stabilizer now getting good cooling if the input is 180v above.
Sir Your information on AC and Stablizer are very useful. I need a clarification on the following. My inverter ac range is 120v to 290v. I have a Inverter AC stabilizer which range is 130v to 280v with auto cut off facility. I presume if the power goes below 130v or goes above 280v the power supply to AC cut off automatically and will not damage my AC. Only thing is I can't enjoy the AC.if there is no damage to my AC and I accept to forgo the comfort of AC why can't I go for lesser range stabilizer

The problem is that an inverter AC can work at 140 V so stabiliser is not necessary? But if u use an ordinary stabiliser it will work only if the input voltage is about 200 V so your inverter AC will not work because of stabiliser ! so u have to go for double/triple booster So in my opinion even if the inverter AC works at 140V it is of no use !

I have 3 inverter Acs in my home and uses 2 V guard and one Syscom brands . But during voltage fluctuation the effect is transfered to AC which increases its speed or decrease it depending upon the fluctuation . I asked the technician what is the meaning of stabilisation but he could not answer my doubt. I feel that it is more pronounced in inverter ACs NO one has clarified ny dobt Can u ?
