Amazing testimony :) I have been through this same struggle. Doubted God. I have questioned my family that how Jesus is God? I decided to find Christ in Old testament and by His grace I was able to find Jesus as God in many verses in Old testament. Finally, he himself manifested himself to me as I was seeking him earnestly. Got an personal relationship with him. He's an amazing God who talks with us, guides us in our lives. There's no doubt that he is God. He is the Son of God.

I would like to explain your basic doubt from an example. Lets assume that you have an ink pen. Now you fill another pen with the ink from your pen. Now what is the name of the other pen ?, simple, the another pen is also an ink pen, isn't it ?. But you are calling the another pen by a different name. By calling ink pen by different name doesn't mean that it is not a ink pen. It is always the ink pen, but you are calling it by a different name for your convenience.
