Madam Oh God From whom you learned this ....It has a lot of flaws. We retailer can not /should not imitate any M.F./HNI since they are the market operators .Moreover we do not know at what price/when they bought.They can afford very high price scrip.we can not/need not because there are many easy options are there in the market with huge liquidity. Note that higher the price Lower the volume and hence room for easy manipulation/control by operators. Take it for granted that there will be CAPITAL GAIN the actual %of GAIN is to be find out by the HOLDING PERIOD. More over every further purchase price must be LESS than the previous purchase price.If one books profit by selling PART of his holding and then buy in Dips his AVERAGE PRICE of his holding will be more than before.Any way take care and happy trading

I have been buying exactly above like TCS and also booked listing gains on DMART ,earlier some 10 years ago Hero Honda and JSW steel were giving good gains for short term ,another sure gain Godrej properties and Shriram Transport finance
