I am Singaravel, 64, with osteoarthritis of both knees. I have been a patient of Dr Shriram for the last two years. He is a very sensible person and a very considerate Dr. He taught me some simple exercises that have kept me going without pain and a surgical intervention. Based on my experience, I had my son too seen by Dr Shriram for a 'Jumper's knee' issue. If what the Dr advises does not suit you or if you dont have confidence in them, please don't follow it. But please don't call him names. He is a gem. Please get an appointment with him and get to know him, before you judge him.

I'm 60 now but lose balance even while doing any one of these exercises. I cannot do a single exercise without support 😪 Last year I lost my consciousness for 8 minutes or so and had fallen down in the bathroom. Luckily door was not locked... when I was lifted by 4-5 people, I regained my consciousness and started yelling in excruciating pain as my ribcage had completely fractured...I'm still at home and unable yo do my normal chores Dear Dr. Sriram, kindly advise 🙏

Last one old couple doing the Chinese- Japanese.excercise as told by doctor.. The other excercise. must also be done by elderly people...only then people will gain confidence.

Yes. We can definitely do it. First you do it with the support of the wall, chair or anything else. Then first start with lesser counts viz. 5,10, 15 and so on. Then you slowly increase the count. If you practice consistently you can do without support. 👌👍🤗🙂. I'm also doing it regularly without support.💪. I'm stepping up to 67 in a couple of months. 🙋‍♀️

I too agree, I'm a senior citizen with vertigo problem, I can't imagine standing on one leg or going slant without holding. This is dangerous, they need support or stand very close to a wall. And the man in the exercise shown is a strong young one, why don't u try with a senior citizen to give us confidence.
