I drove virtus -issues with ac -intial lag in power till 40 speed Mileage might be around 9 -spare parts of VW are not available easily -High maintenance -No rear AC vents in base model...huge cost cutting I ORDERED CITY VMT finally in hyd ..scheduled for delivery this week ❤️❤️
Review was biased for virtus. When it comes to comfort and the luxury even kids know it's Honda city. Refined engine, softer suspension and excellent seats. And coming to the base variant virtus won't even provide rear ac vent at this price 😆 you will get outdated 7 inch infotainment, analog meters and steel wheel. In honda city you can get keyless entry, alloy wheels, rear ac went and better infotainment. Now you got my point right. Honda can smoke out Germans any day with I-VTEC engine
In reality.. City - value for money (kudukura kaasuku worth'uh) Virtus- over priced (oru rendu moonu extra features kuduthu 1lit engine ah potrukaanga) And also city base varient has all the features but virtus base varient la onnum illa..
Its a biased video , favouring vw virtus Neglected all positive points of city . 1) all windows one touch up and down and pinch guard . 2) premium leather finish in dashboard 3)only one na petrol engine with rev happy nature ( Honda ivtec ) 4) better mileage ( fuel efficiency ) than both 1l tsi and 1.5l tsi . 5) Honda's peace of mind ownership ( reliability ) 6) remote engine start in key as well as app ( Honda connect ) Ac on and off from distance 7) rear windshield sun curtain 8) rotatary ac knobs control . 9) lane watch camera & multi angle camera 10) better underbody protection You might like vw virtus , but as a reviewer you also should consider other competitor products plus points , don't be completely baised towards one product , you only concentrated on virtus plus points ( Note - I'm not Honda City owner , I'm vw taigun dsg owner Frustrated with its interior quality , it's engine transmission clutch problems , no quality control done , interior roof liner feels cheap , and all those problems arises , which is unexpected from a vehicle which is costed 22 lacs Disappointing vw skoda 2.0 strategy ,poor interior quality , poor fit and finish etc )
City - Drivable at Low Rpm and rocket at higher rpms as well VW - Hesitation at low rpms and Rocket at higher rpm CITY - comfort is supreme VW is not that comfy as compared to city City is most reliable 25years in India most proven VW - Polo was good initally! Pocket rocket! But virtus cant be judged City would be the best choice in Overall comparison! VW = Only initial torque rest city beats
Everyone are comparing top ends but not the price but actually most selling varients are mid varients in that honda city for 15 lakh V variant is giving more features and the reliability of honda engines are already proven. The mid vareint of virtus itself 16 lakh which is coming with only 3 cylinder variant and lags on driving quality
Correct I own Vento 1.0 TSI 2020 ...I bought this instead of city ...Its been 2 years and it never disappointed me... A car which will be under full control of the driver

Brother As a tata customer i would not suggest anyone to purchase tata vehicles . I was facing n number of issues in new car so better go with other brands .
Consider on three points 1.Resale value 2,Maintenance cost and spares availability 3.Good AC and decent safety specs 4.Good mileage 5.Good legroom for rear Then go for city If you need decent AC, decent audio systems , good safety and build quality , racy car then go for volkswagen!! Resale value is very worst in terms of German cars !! This is where Japanese Toyota and Honda scores plus reliable vehicle
