Sir, I like to share you that,more than 15 years I took mediclaim policy with National Insurance co and paying the premium. Last year I paid Rs.29464 and whereas this year,they send me demand notice for Rs.48654 which seems to be abnormal. For as senior how is possible to pay such huge premium.what govt is doing and no help the senior citizens. As a adviser why can't you take proper manner to the govt.

Claim settlement ratio , room rent cap, cashless , CO pay are important Params. Hdfc Ergo and Care health are good insurance companies in all the params.

1 yr ago, Niva Bupa launched a policy that has no cap on room rent, 0 Co pay, cashless health insurance with unlimited insurance claim benefit. As on date its the best policy in the industry. I signed up to be their advisor immediately hearing their policy, as I know nothing beats its benefits.

LIC Jeevan Arogya best policy. But no cashless facility and it is reimbursement of expenses on sum assured policy. Due to as usual excellent service, settlement there.

I think copay is different from out of pocket deductible. Copays are a fixed fee you pay when you receive covered care like an office visit or pick up prescription drugs. A deductible is the amount of money you must pay out-of-pocket toward covered benefits before your health insurance company starts paying. In most cases your copay will not go toward your deductible.
