It is very difficulty to go thro. Term & condition of Medical insurance policy as the letters size is so small to read & understand the conditions. The letter size should be same size of the front page of policy details. Otherwise it will lead cheating done by insurers.This is well established fact.

People have to understand that Insurance companies are not doing any social service. As rightly madam said we have to be transparent with agents when applying for Health Insurance by disclosing the fact like sugar, BP, even if you smoke or drink pls disclose it. Do not hide it from Health Insurance companies.

Neatly explained. But the bitter truth is that Medical Insurance cover in our country has become a tool for joint loot - by the Insurance Companies and the Hospitals combined. A clear case of nisuse of this tool - very unfortunate that hardly anyone raises this matter. Even in the above discussion Madam feels better to advise the common man to get used to such day loots by the hospitals misusing the medical Insurance policy cover of the patients. Madam advises the common man to be transparent which is definitely right but she fails to say that the Hospitals never act transparently. In turn, she advises that the common man has to get used to such wrong practices of the hospitals where the common man will not be able to question the hospitals for inflating the bills in the guise of using very technical terms hardly understood by the patients involved.

I could say instead of free medical in gov hospital , gov can create it's own insurance for all citizens . So people don't need to panic because of hospital bills . Basically instead of free medical charge low / min fee and that too by insurance will make entire INDIAN life and future secured

நான் எங்க ஊரில் உள்ள ஒரு பிரபலமான Hospital -ல் Health| Insurance Card - ஐ காட்டி Treatinent க்காக நுழைகிறேன். அந்த Card - ஐ பார்த்து விட்டு Admit செய்தால் தான் Card -ஐ எடுத்துக் கொள்வோம். வெறும் Admission செய்தால் எடுத்து கொள்ள மாட்டோம் என்றார்கள். Admission வேறு. Admit வேறு என சொல்கிறார்கள். இதற்கு என்ன அர்த்தம். நம்மை Hospital -ல் உள்ளவர்கள் ஏமாற்றுகிறார்களா?
