This is human rights violation. Theni Sridar has every right to file petition if he finds it apt. If the inmates are involved in illegal activities like smuggling karuvadu, it shows the incompetence of the jail management. The fact that Rahim openly admits involving in illegal activities against a criminal who rightfully used the channels that was available, then it shows this is the problem with our country.
It's true that it's human rights violation but think why the prisoners are after dried fish(karuvadu) while they are provided with chicken every week. They are also humans. If they are given proper food they wouldn't have smuggled just Karuvadu
@@erwinromel2622 that's a non sense argument.. prison is not a rent free place to stay or Triplicane mansion for one to enjoy their stay with sagala vasadhigal. They should have thought about that before committing the crime. Prison is not supposed to be a place where you claim you felt like eating karuvadu or Mysorepak because you're human too, no no no. Prison is a place that's supposed to punish you in a harsh living condition (which won't starve you to death, you'll be given minimal meals for survival) so that you don't commit crime again, to make you feel it won't be worth committing the crime again.. But what they did was, involve in illegal activities, like mutton etc karuvadu, and beat the inmate who follow the guidelines set by the government and use that channel to rise they voice. This is not acceptable. Your answer just shows that you don't understand basic concept and purpose of prisons justifying the inmates who defy the only reason why they are in prison..Ella vasidhagalum kedachutta arpum evan bayapaduvaan jail ku poga. The crime will continue then.. Personally the reason I don't rob a bank or jewelry shop is because if I get caught, I'll b sent to prison where I would be forced to live in harsh conditions. @@Tdotttttt according to the Jail rules they should be given chicken once in a week. But they are not even given a brinjal. My mom was once a visiting legal aid lawyer for the prisons. She doesn't like criminals and convicts yet she told me about the horrible food. Court have punished them with internment but not denied them good food. There is corruption in the system. I am not justifying that bringing dried fish is right. I am just telling that it's just a normal human behaviour. The prison department doesn't have enough man power. They can't protect every single prisoner even though it's their responsibility. There should be proper reforms. The prisoners should be given proper food. This is definitely a prime human right if u are aware of human rights.
