Sweet Boondhi
Ingredients :-
Gram flour / Besan / Kadalai maavu - 1 cup
Salt - a pinch
Baking soda - a pinch
Food colour - as you need ( optional )
Water as required ( Mix all the ingredients to bajji batter consistency )
Oil for frying
Sugar Syrup :-
Sugar - 1 cup
Water - 1/2 cup
( Single string consistency )
For Payasam:-
Ghee - 1 tbsp
Cashews - 20 nos
Raisins - 10 - 15 nos
Semiya / Vermicelli - 1 hand ful
water as required
Milk - 1/2 litre
Cardamom 1/4 tsp
