சோ சொல்லக்கூடிய விதிமுறைகளை பின்பற்றாத பிராமணர் எல்லாம் பறையர் என்ற பெயரை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ள தயாரா? பதவி வேறு, சாதி வேறு... எதாவது உளர கூடாது.

Today none of the brahmin is a brahmin of Vedic age. Only we say if grand grand father is brahmin, grand father is a brahmin, father is a brahmin and sone is also a brahmin whereas they don't qualify as a brahmin by Vedic standards. In those days there was no reservation and election and also people were noble. So people never bothered on anything or bothered just on their duties. But, today you made everything centric on caste based class which is the problem. Who is the responsible for casteism? It is not vedas and upanishad but Mcallay system of education system, a modern evil introduced during British period well exploited by divisive political forces. We should not confuse between religious literatures and on social order books at the same time. Muslim rulers who invaded us kidnapped our ladies and children which was the un written rule for the kings and emperors and they are unacceptable in todays standards. So practices of today may not be right few years down the time. We have to reform and keep going rather stuck 300 yrs back claiming some of the literatures were discriminativ e while we dont even have basic understanding of Sanskrit / Hindi courtesy dravidianism.

Varna and caste are different and varna is a broad classification of society based on profession. Todays majoriry of the peofession may not be classifiable under such a given varnas. As you are pointing out, this was said for particular region below Himalaya and above Vindhya in the Banaras Hindu University publication of 1902. The year of Hindi/Sanskrit source that was the basis for this 1902 tamil translation is not known that may even dates back few hundreds year further. Today majority of Hindus / Brahmins 99.99% who are at loggerheads with DK might not even aware what is this about whereas these fringe elements in society picks up some book some where calling themselves as societal guardians asking for societal accountability. They seek accountability that is not followed /existing. Religious literatures and social order based books are two different. Even If social order books reflect something contradictory to today's faith how come religion can be brought in the line is not clear. Is it because lack of Hindi / Sanskrit knowledge of dravidian ideologues?
