Bussy Anand worked as an aide to former Puducherry state minister Ashraf. Initially, he was running businesses like finance and real estate in Puducherry and has been an ardent fan of Vijay. In 2006, he contested from the Bussi constituency on behalf of the Congress party and became an MLA. The block was named Bussy after the former French Governor Bussy. After this, Bussi joined his name.
There are more Muslim population in that Bussi block. As a fan of Vijay in that constituency, he has been providing welfare assistance including conducting blood donation camps. Those constituencies full of fishermen and Muslims have a separate fan base for actor Vijay. Seeing his attitude, Vijay fans from that area make him the honorary president of the forum. When S.A.Chandrasekhar comes to Puducherry, he gets a chance to meet him. He tells him about the welfare assistance he has done on behalf of Vijay fan club.
