నువ్వు ఉన్న స్థానాన్ని మర్చిపో Dream big అని తన అన్నయ్య చెప్పిన మాటలు ఒక చిన్న పల్లెటూరులో నిరుపేద కుటుంబలో ఉన్న ఒక వ్యక్తిని ఇవాళ దేశం గర్వపడే సైంటిస్ట్ ను చేసాయి. ఇది ఒక వాక్యంలో సిద్దపేట కోహెడ మండల్ వెంకటేస్వరపల్లి అనే గ్రామానికి చెందిన Dr శంకర్ పిడిశెటీ గారి కథ . కానీ చెప్పినంత చదివినంత సులువు కాదు తన ప్రయాణం . ఎన్నో ఒడిదుకులను ఎదురుకున్నారు . తన జీవితాన్ని, తన విజయాన్ని తానే ఆవిష్కరించుకున్న కార్యసాధకుడు శంకర్ గారు. చిన్నప్పటి నుంచి ఆయనకు సైన్స్ అంటే ఆసక్తి . తన చుట్టూ ఉన్న విషయాలు ఇలానే ఎందుకు ఉన్నాయి వాటి వెనుక ఉన్న కారణం ఏంటి అని తెలుసుకోవాలి అన్న ఆసక్తి తనని 12 ఏళ్ల వయస్సుకే అందరు అభినందించే inventorను చేసింది. తన కుటుంబ ఆర్ధిక పరిస్థితి తన కలలకు కళ్లెం వెయ్యలేకపోయింది. ఎన్ని కష్టాలు ఎదురైనా తానూ శ్రమిస్తూ ముందుకు వెళ్లారు . తాను కొత్తగా హైదరాబాద్ వచ్చినప్పుడు పల్లెటూరు నుంచి వచ్చాడు అని తోటి విద్యార్థులు హేళన చేసేవారు . తనకు ఇంగ్లీష్ రాకపోవడం వల్ల కూడా ఇబ్బందులు పడ్డారు. కానీ అవన్నీ దాటుకుని ముందుకు వెళ్లారు . దేశానికే గర్వకారణమైన IIT Madras లో సైంటిస్ట్గా పని చేసారు. ఎన్నో అవార్డులు అందుకున్నారు. ఇప్పుడు Optoelectronic Research Centre, University of Southamptonలో ప్రపంచంలో నే ప్రఖ్యాతి గాంచిన సైంటిస్ట్ లతో పని చేస్తున్నారు. తనలో స్ఫూర్తి నింపి తన విజయానికి కారణమైన విషయాలను తన జోష్ talk ద్వారా మనతో పంచుకున్నారు.
Forget where you are from just dream big and work hard to achieve your dreams this will give you heights of success in life. These are the words that changed the life of Shankar who belongs to a poor agricultural family of Venkateswara pally village of Siddipet. Today he is Dr. Shankar Pidishety, currently working at Optoelectronic Research Centre, University of Southampton, UK. He is working with many world-renowned scientists. His journey is not easy as you can imagine there will be a lot of struggle and hard work for someone who has minimal resources to reach the place where he is today. He is in love with science since his childhood. He became an inventor by the age of 12. But he always faced difficulties due to fewer resources available to him. But he took inspiration from the things surrounding him. He learned that he can apply his knowledge and observations to go to a better stage in life. At a time he was also mocked by his friends in college when he came to Hyderabad for the first time to study. He didn't let any of his shortcomings in the way he completed his Ph.D. and also got many awards. He achieved many awards and also grant for his research. He also worked at IIT Madras. He is currently working at the Optoelectronic Research Centre, University of Southampton, UK. He shared with us how simple laws of physics became the laws of his life and led him to the path of success. He also shared how he envisioned his success through his Josh Talk in Telugu. His story is a real inspiration to all Andhrapradesh and Telangana people.
