Chana Masala - Poori
Ingredients :-
Desi Chana - 1 cup( soaked overnight)
Oil - 1 tb spn
Whole Garam Masala - 1 tsp
Cumin - 1/2 tsp
Onion- 2 chopped
Turmeric- 1/2 tsp
Ginger garlic paste- 1 tb spn
Tomatoes- 3 (purée)
Green chillies- 3 chopped
Chilli powder- 1 tsp
Coriander powder- 1 tsp
Chole Masala - 1 tb spn
Coriander leaves- 1 bunch
Salt - To Taste
Water - As Required
Method:-
Take 1 cup chana wash them and soak them overnight or 3-4 hours. In a Pressure cooker add water, soaked chana and cook them till soft. It should be mashed with fingers.
In a pan add oil, whole garam masala, cumin, onion, salt and sauté it. Then add turmeric, ginger garlic paste, fry it for 2-3 minutes. Then add tomatoes purée and sauté till oil oozes out from the gravy. Now add green chillies, chilli powder, coriander powder, chole masala and sauté it. Add boiled chana dal along with water and bring it to a boil. Mash some of the chana using spoon and cook it till desired consistency and add coriander leaves. Serve it with Hot
