For Omapodi or Sev:
Besan or Gram Flour - 1 cup
Rice Flour - 2 tbsp
Ajwain Powder - 1 tsp
Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Asafoetida Powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt - 1 tsp
Hot Oil - 1 tbsp
For Kara Boondi:
Besan or Gram Flour - 1 cup
Rice Flour - 2 tbsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Asafoetida Powder - 1 pinch
Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste or 1/2 tsp
Baking Soda - 1 pinch
Other Ingredients:
Pea Nuts (Ground Nuts) - 1/4 cup
Cashew Nuts - 1/4 cup
Roasted Chana Dal - 1/4 cup
Poha or Flattened Rice - 2/2 cup
Curry Leaves - 2 sprigs
Garlic Cloves (crushed) - 8 to 10
For Seasoning:
Salt to taste
Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
Diamond Chips:
Wheat Flour - 1 cup
Maida - 1 cup
Garlic Cloves - 5 to 6
Red Chillies - 6
Black or White Sesame Seeds - 1 tsp
Ajwain - 1 tsp
Curry Leaves - 1 sprig
Salt to taste or 3/4 tsp
Cooking Oil for deep fry
Rice Flour Crackers:
Rice Flour - 1/4 cup
Green Chillies - 3 to 4
Ginger - 1/2 inch
Chana Dal (soaked in water for 1 hour) - 1 tbsp
Moong Dal (soaked in water for 1 hour) - 1 tbsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
Curry Leaves(chopped) - 1 sprig
Salt to taste or 3/4 tsp
Hot oil - 1 tbsp
Warm Water
Cooking Oil for deep fry
Ribbon Pakoda:
Rice Flour - 2 cups
Besan - 1 cup
Ajwain or Carom Seeds - 1 tsp
White Sesame Seeds - 1 tsp
Red Chilli Powder - 1.5 tsp
Salt to taste or 1 tsp
Asafoetida Powder - 1/4 tsp
Hot Oil - 2 tbsp
Cooking Oil for deep fry
