About Tamaala :
The objective of Tamaala is to support the livelihoods of skilled rural & tribal artisans, facilitate co-creation between visual artists & artisans, provide contemporary design inputs, act as a marketing platform for indigenous art and craft and generate awareness about these native art forms. Eventually, we would also like to create an incubation center for innovation in indigenous art.
Tamaala currently supports livelihoods of 160 rural & tribal artisans in 41 Indian clusters. We are also suporting 2 NGO's in Karnataka ( another 80 artisans ). We're part of Infosys CSR, and Robert Bosch foundation & recently empaneled in Wipro vendor diversity program as well as the Amazon Karigar program.
