The quality of build those days have sustained for ages which is just marvellous. These days, the quality of wood we get will attract termites within a decade. This house has massive wood structures and still in awesome shape. Truly great to see. 👏👏
In north Karnataka you see many old houses constructed with stone and wood even my grandfather house at native is 110 years old and we enjoy there even now they dont use fans. we dont get that richness in city of 3bhk rooms.its sad
Lovely video ! I have seen similar wadas in Pune belonging to the sardars of the Peshwas. Vishrambag wada, Raste wada are a few to name.Old Pune areas around the Shaniwar wada which was the abode of the Peshwas,are full of such wadas. Now these old wadas are rapidly being demolished to build modern residential or commercial buildings. It is hearbreaking to see the Pune 'wada culture 'being almost extinct.Really admire Mr. Surya who is taking efforts to preserve the heritage vaastu of his ancestors.
