Yes i know a girl who was almost dead with heavy metal poisoning after a well known ayurvedic doctor treated her for something trivial. Luckily she got timely treatment in a hospital and was cured. The little girl has now grown up to become an allopathy doctor.

Most of the ayurvedic doctors have got in after they do their higher secondary education, and that should make them question a lot of basic assumptions on which ayurvedic system is built on. The books that it is based on has a lot of absolutely wrong and senseless info, which itself should be one single reason to reject ayurveda altogether. How do you trust a source that has wrong info and baseless assumptions?
@@josephs4044 ok nice to know about the doctor.., Ya ofcourse the ayu doctors are forced to take that risk just becouse of few marks .. so sad about them.. we also need to restore them .. and also almost all thinking that herbal always safe like food.. naturalistic fallacy.. they only realize the short term side effects .. never thinking about chronic longtime adverce effects mainly from hevimetals... That's huge in some medicine.. more than 100,10000 times than permissible limits.. it's well proven facts about hevimetals toxicity.. ayu doctors never know about it.. they never seen a test repost of that medicine.. am wondering why this situation still working as slow poison in this science era.. so sad

Modern medicine is different. It's clinically proven and based on science. Ayurvedic is based on tradition, even when hundreds of years of proven usage vindicates much of it, it still has a lot of side effects, and can never match modern science. Modern medicine also started with plant medicine and nature healing, only difference is the West moved on and still keeps improving it. But Ayurveda got stuck as they ascribed it to divine guidance, which cannot change or improve. In the US Indian ayurvedic concoctions cannot be called medicine, and much of them (like those that have heavy metals) are banned completely. Means if you administer them, you straight into jail. What Indian ayurvedic system needs to do is put the ayurvedic medicines under clinical trial, and find out what's really good and what's not. With a lot of nationalism now I'm not sure how independent and verifiable that's going to be though. Average Indian knows more about astrology and vaastu more than they understand basic science needed in daily life. Only way is to educate the public, but now they are contaminating the education system as well. Entire education system has to be made secular and freed from all religious clutch, including that of minorities. And that's impossible, so they will continue feeding the religious doctrines early on so that their kids will see everything only through the religious filter.
