That is just an illusion. Close to horizon you have other things to compare the size. But on top, only the disc of Sun (or Moon) is visible. Therefore you feel it comparatively smaller. It has nothing to do with distance anyway.

@@VaisakhanThampi Sir.. I saw your video 'poochayude athmavu'. In it you said that the uncertainty in quantum mechanics is not due to the lack of technology but rather intrinsic. I later saw an old video of Richard Feynman on this. In it he said even though we know all the governing variables of the emitted electron (hidden variable theory) we cannot predict through which hole (in the double slit experiment) the electron will go and get the interference pattern simultaneously. I still couldn't comprehend it. Why is this uncertainty their? I assume it is difficult for you to explain it here. Can you suggest any article which explain this simply. I am not good in understanding mathematical explanations. From Richard Feynman's video what i understood is that the uncertainty prevails since the mathematics doesn't suggest it. Then would it be because that we have not yet discovered something in mathematics that we can use to find the reason of this uncertainty? Do you think we have not arrived to a confirmed defenition about the reality in terms of physics due to the lack of something, ( or something yet to be discovered,) in mathematics? Wasn't discovery of Calculus a major breakthrough in science to derive all those complicated equations defining these complicated physics of universe and particles. Just like that are we lagging behind due to such a break through yey tobe made?
