It's like this - if you draw a line in the middle of the Kerala atheist community, you'll see Vyshakhan Thambi on one side and those Neurons fellows on the other side. Now, these guys might sound similar when they talk about the concept of god, religion and all. They'll be like "fuck god, fuck religion!" But when it comes to other stuff - like economic policy, social issues, and even fundamental moral values - they're as different as Haluva and Mathi curry. If you're confused about all this, no tension. First, you build your political POV and find out your position, where you belong in the political spectrum. It's like finding out which team you support in football, but for real life, you know? There are these online quizzes that can give you a rough idea. Take one of those, it'll help you understand where you stand in this political compass. (In the Indian scenario) People who are on the right side of the political spectrum don't see the BJP/Hindutva as a big threat, but Islam and communism will be their biggest threats. On the other side, people like Vyshakhan Thambi see BJP/Hindutva as a big threat. In India, Islam is not as strong as seen in Islamic countries, so they don't have power; no way they can rule India or change secular India to an Islamic country. But Hindus are very strong and they have the power to change India. You can see BJP's vote percentage across India, so these left people always talk against Hindutva politics or BJP and less about Muslim League or Islamic politics, and very less about communism. Only while talking about god and religion can you find differences between BJP and right-wing atheists. Otherwise, right-wing atheists and BJP have similar thoughts. You can find videos in Neurons channel against reservation, against farmers' protests. You can even find Prof. Ravichandran quoting extreme right-wing people in his speech (It's not wrong, that's just his view). And left wing atheist support reservation, farmer's protest etc.. This is a small outline of why people like Vyshakhan Thambi, Vishwanathan doc, Jabbar mash, etc. have stepped out from the Neurons community. Remember, it's not just about believing in god or not. There's a lot more to it. So think well, and don't just follow what others are saying. Use your own buddhi. Read/Listen everything/everyone and build your moral values, POV.....
