Hi, this vlog was nostalgic for me. It brought back so many memories. Sauvabelin was a place that we visited very often, there is a nice small hiking path we used to take from Sallaz to reach Sauvabelin. From the vlog, I felt you walked towards the tower after seeing the animals and did not go inside the forest. There are several picnic tables inside the forest and it is a great spot for summer picnics. About the smell, pigs like that environment, that is why it is maintained that way. Wherever you find pigs, they love to be in muddy puddles. The wooden carving is of a Reindeer!
