You were able to make that kind of profit only because it’s a trending market. Stay in the market for at least one full market cycle and you will realise what kind of returns you can actually make by option selling. If someone can make consistently 5-8% every month, then that person can replace Warren Buffet as the best investor in the world.

@@SurajInd89 Well @ShariqueShamsudheen has been making consistent profits from option selling. I guess he is making more than 6-8% per month. And he is teaching how he is doing that. So in that case I guess its possible.

Because if he is so sure that he makes 5-8% per month (as someone suggested here) then there should not be any problem with paying advance tax. And yeah, some traders do give proof of advance income tax they have filed.

But don't expect that in the long run. There is no strategy in option selling that can guarantee consistent profits. It is very important to keep your expectations at reasonable levels so that you can win in the long run.
