45 meter പോരാ 60m എങ്കിലും വേണം. അല്ലേൽ ഇപ്പൊൾ പണി നടക്കുന്ന NH66 പോലെ ആകും. സർവീസ് റോഡ് വീതി കാണില്ല. Merging points il അപകട സാധ്യതയും ഉണ്ട്. NHAI main carriage way യുടെ കാര്യത്തിലെ ശ്രദ്ധ കൊടുക്കൂ. പിന്നെ semi access controlled ആയത് കൊണ്ട്. സർവീസ് road il ആകും local traffic കൂടുതൽ.

In the case of the Greenfield highway as well, the traffic density in the future will surpass what a four-lane highway can accommodate. However, the challenge is that we cannot construct another new highway further east.

ഇപ്പോഴത്തെ എറണാകുളം മുതൽ പാലക്കാട് വരെയുള്ള നാലുവരി പാത പണിയുന്ന സമയത്ത് അങ്കമാലിയിൽ ഒരു ഫ്ലൈഓവറിന് പദ്ധതി ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. എന്നാൽ അവിടത്തെ അന്നത്തെ എംഎൽഎ അത് മുടക്കി. ലോക്കൽ മാർക്കറ്റിലെ കച്ചവടം പോവും എന്ന മുടന്തൻ ന്യായം. ഇന്ന് അങ്കമാലിയിലെ ഗതാഗത കുരുക്ക് എല്ലാവർക്കും മനസ്സിലാക്കാം. അവിടെ ഒരു ഫ്ലൈഓവർ വളരെ അത്യാവശ്യമാണ്.

പുതിയ ഗ്രീൻഫീൽഡ് ഹൈവേയുടെ സർവേ നടന്നുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. മൂവാറ്റുപുഴ മുതൽ പുനലൂർ വരെയുള്ള ഭാഗത്ത് പുതിയതായി പണിത SH-8 ൻറെ വളരെ അടുത്താണ് ഈ ഹൈവേയുടെ alignment. സാമാന്യം നല്ല വീതിയിലാണ് SH-8 പണിതിരിക്കുന്നത്. അതിൻറെ തൊട്ടടുത്തുതന്നെ ഒരു പുതിയ ഹൈവേ പണിയുന്നതിലും നല്ലത് കൂടുതൽ അനുയോജ്യമായ ഒരു സ്ഥലം കണ്ടെത്തുന്നതായിരിക്കും. SH-8 ൽ ഉള്ള ടൗൺഷിപ്പുകൾക്ക് ബൈപാസ് പണിയുകയും അങ്കമാലിയിലേക്കും തിരുവനന്തപുരത്തേക്കും നീട്ടുകയും ചെയ്താൽ പുതിയ ഹൈവേയുടെ പത്തിൽ ഒന്ന് ചെലവിൽ കാര്യം നടക്കും. കാലടി പുതിയ പാലം വന്നുകഴിഞ്ഞാൽ മൂവാറ്റുപുഴ-അങ്കമാലി റോഡ് വികസനം വേഗത്തിലാകും എന്ന് പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കാം.

I am wondering why we are not using yellow lines in the middle to clearly separate the two directions of traffic, just like most of the world does. double yellow lines in the middle mean it is a two-way traffic road. If the yellow line on the extreme right side means it is a one-way road and you are driving in the right direction. if the yellow line is on the extreme left side means it is a one-way road and you are driving in the wrong direction. These yellow lines can save life and property.
