ഈ ഗാനത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് അറിയാത്തവർക്ക് വേണ്ടി - 1800 കാലഘട്ടത്തിൽ ജീവിച്ചിരുന്ന ഒരു അദ്ധ്യാപകനായ ജയിംസ് മിൽട്ടൺ ബ്ലാക്ക് ആണ് ഈ ഗാനം രചിച്ചത് - 'പേർ വിളിക്കും നേരം കാണും എൻ പേരും' എന്ന പേരിൽ ഇത് ലോക പ്രസിദ്ധമാണ്. ലോകത്തെ 500 ഭാഷകളിൽ ഈ ഗാനം മൊഴിമാറ്റം നടന്നിട്ടുണ്ട് എന്ന് കരുതുന്നു.ഒരിക്കൽ ക്ലാസിൽ കുട്ടികളുടെ ഹാജർ വിളിച്ച് കൊണ്ടിരുന്ന ജയിംസ് ഒരു കുട്ടിയെ സ്ഥിരമായി കാണാതിരുന്നത് കൊണ്ട് അവനെ അന്വേഷിച്ചു പോകുകയുണ്ടായി.ആ യാത്രയിൽ അദ് ദേഹം ഇങ്ങനെ ചിന്തിക്കുകയുണ്ടായി - കർത്താവായ ക്രിസ്തുവിൻ്റെ രണ്ടാം വരവിൽ തൻ്റെ പേർ ഇത് പോലെ വിളിക്കുമ്പോൾ താൻ ഉണ്ടാകുമോയെന്ന ഒരു ചിന്ത... എന്തായാലും ജയിംസ് കുട്ടിയെ കണ്ടെത്തി ,അവന് ന്യുമോണിയ ആയിരുന്നു ,ഒരു ഡോക്ടറെ ഏർപ്പാടാക്കി ജയിംസ് വീട്ടിലെത്തി ഇത്തരത്തിൽ ഒരു ഗാനം രചിച്ചു. പേർ വിളിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഞാനും കാണും എന്ന ദൃഡനിശ്ചയമായിരുന്നു പാട്ടിൻ്റെ ചുരുക്കം. വെൻ ദ ട്രംപറ്റ് ഓഫ് ദ ലോർഡ് എന്ന പേരിൽ ഇംഗ്ലീഷിലും, കർത്തൃ കാഹളം എന്ന പേരിൽ മലയാളത്തിലും ഇതറിയപ്പെടുന്നു. ജയിംസ് അന്ത്യവിശ്രമം പ്രാപിച്ചിട്ട് കാലങ്ങളായെങ്കിലും അനേകം രാജ്യങ്ങളിൽ വളരെ പ്രത്യാശയോടെയും സന്തോഷത്തോടെയും ഈ ഗാനം ആലപിക്കുന്നു.

മലയാളികള്‍ ഭയത്തോടെ പാടുന്ന ഗാനം ആഫ്രിക്കൻസ് വളരെ രസകരമായും പ്രത്യാശയോടും പാടുന്നത് കേട്ടപ്പോൾ വളരെ കൗതുകം തോന്നി. കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളെ പോലെ Action song കാണിച്ചു ലയിച്ചു പാടിയപ്പോൾ അവരുടെ പ്രത്യാശ മനസ്സിലാക്കുവാന്‍ സാധിച്ചു. ഈ അന്തിമ സമയത്ത്, സകല ജഡവും ദൈവത്തെ അറിയും എന്ന സൂചന യാണ് ഈ ഗാനം കേൾക്കുവാൻ ഇടയായത്. My grandfather, ദൈവ ഭക്തനായ ദൈവ ദാസൻ Pr. Yovan varghese എപ്പോഴും പാടിയിരുന്ന ഗാനങ്ങളില്‍ ഒന്നാണ് കർതൃകാഹളം.... God Bless You...
