Are you all crazy and blaming the built in several years. Why that time Authorities given permit to build and stay. Even today the main roads or inside roads are not having the drainage in Kerala to divert rain water, which is designed by rank holders and supervised by rank holders of India /Kerala. Are they not directly responsible for this flooding in almost all villages not near the rivers. What about the Dams , does any of the responsible were there to decide to open the shutters before two weeks. Why all the dams are opened one midnight or waited till the shutters broke to release the water. Its not a joke. People are in real dangerous situation with less hope. So stop nonsense and open your heart and mind to help

ഇതിലും വലിയ മഴയും മണ്ണിടിച്ചിലും കാലങ്ങൾക്കു മുമ്പേ നടന്നിരുന്നു. അങ്ങിനെ വെള്ളം കുത്തിയൊലിച്ചു പോയ വഴികളാണ് ഇന്നത്തെ തോടുകളും പുഴകളും!. ഇനി പഴയപോലെ മഴയൊന്നും പെയ്യില്ല എന്ന് കരുതി എല്ലാ വെള്ളച്ചാലുകളും വയലുകളും കുഴികളും മണ്ണിട്ടുമൂടി "പുരോഗതി"യുണ്ടാക്കിയ നാം ഇനിയെങ്കിലും പ്രകൃതിയെ അറിയുക.പ്രകൃതി നിയമങ്ങൾ മനസ്സിലാക്കുക.

Even today the main roads or inside roads are not having the drainage in Kerala to divert rain water, which is designed by rank holders and supervised by rank holders of India /Kerala. Are they not directly responsible for this flooding in almost all villages not near the rivers. What about the Dams , does any of the responsible were there to decide to open the shutters before two weeks. Why all the dams are opened one midnight or waited till the shutters broke to release the water. Its not a joke. People are in real dangerous situation with less hope. So stop nonsense and open your heart and mind to help.

When I was a child my mother used to tell we children about the devastating floods witnessed in some parts of Kerala , way back in 1924 , the information regarding this terrible fury of floods , my mother got to know from her Mother. People recollect with fear those horrible days even now as this has gone to the record books and also they have been told about the same by their anscestors. Now here our own state , once again facing same kind of nature's fury with much more intensity , leaving a trail of destruction. This has happened at a time when the festival of Onam is round the corner. This year we all will have to do away with the celebrations relating to Onam and pray for our Brothers & Sisters , who lost their precious lives and become prey to this disastrous nature's phenomenon. We are all having tears in our eyes which is cascading and flowing like a stream. At this point of time, I feel shackled from all directions.
