As per Indian culture, the wife should be at least 4,5 years younger than the husband. Even now, in arranged marriages the age difference may go up to 10 years, so obviously most of the husbands will be controlling the wife more than caring. There won’t be an equal voice in such relationship. And these relationships won’t be smooth. It is possible for those girls who got brainwashed from their home that their life is supposed to serve husband, his parents and their children. And everyone blame the girl if she decides to step out from a marriage. The girls need to earn financial freedom first, only by that they can earn the freedom to take decisions in their life.
