ഇത്തവണ സത്യത്തിൽ സംഭവിച്ചത് ന്യൂനപക്ഷ വിഭാഗങ്ങൾ, പിന്നോക്ക ദളിത് വിഭാഗങ്ങൾ,സിഖ്‌ മത വിഭാഗം, എന്നിവരെല്ലാം ദേശീയ രാഷ്ട്രീയ ചിത്രം മുൻ നിർത്തി തങ്ങളുടെ സംഘടനപരമായ എല്ലാ വിഭാഗീയതയും മാറ്റി നിർത്തി ഒറ്റ ലക്ഷ്യത്തോടെ ഏകീകരിച്ചു ബിജെപി ക്കു എതിരെ വോട്ട് ചെയ്തു, ഇതിനു പുറമെ ദുസ്സഹമായ വിലകയറ്റം, തൊഴിലില്ലായ്മ എന്നിവ മൂലം ജീവിതത്തിന്റെ രണ്ടറ്റം കൂട്ടിമുട്ടിക്കുവാൻ ആവാതെ ചക്ര ശ്വാസം വലിക്കുന്ന വലിയൊരു വിഭാഗം തൊഴിലാളി വർഗവും കർഷകരും ബിജെപി ക്കു എതിരെ തിരിഞ്ഞു എന്നതാണ് സത്യം. കേരളത്തിലേക്ക് പോകുമ്പോൾ സിപിഎം ന്റെ വോട്ട് ബാങ്ക് എന്ന് പറയുന്നത് ഈഴവ, ദളിത് സമൂഹത്തിന്റെ വോട്ടുകളാണ്. കഴിഞ്ഞ നിയമ സഭ തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിൽ കോൺഗ്രസ്‌ മുഖ്‌ത സൗത്ത് ഇന്ത്യക്കു വേണ്ടി വെള്ളപ്പള്ളിയിലൂടെ പാലമിട്ടു ബിജെപി വോട്ടുകൾ സിപിഎം നു മറിച്ചു സിപിഎം നെ വിജയിപ്പിച്ചു. ഇത്തവണ അതിനു പ്രത്യുപകാരമായി പല മണ്ഡലങ്ങളിലും അവരുടെ വോട്ടുകൾ ബിജെപി ക്കു മറിഞ്ഞു. പക്ഷെ സാധാരണ തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിൽ സിപിഎം നു ലഭികുമായിരുന്ന കാന്തപുരം സുന്നി വോട്ടുകൾ കോൺഗ്രസിന് അനുകൂലമായി മാറി വോട്ടു ചെയ്തു.
