കുറച്ച് വർഷങ്ങൾക്ക് മുന്നേ ഒരു ബിഷപ്പ് കോണ്ഗ്രസ് നേതാവ് പി T തോമസിന്റെ പ്രതീകാത്മക ശവപ്പെട്ടി ചുമന്ന് ഒരു യാത്ര നടത്തി... കൊറോണ കാലത്ത് ഈ ബിഷപ്പ് മരിച്ചപ്പോൾ 30 പേർക്ക് പോലും സംസ്കാര ചടങ്ങിന് എത്താൻ പറ്റുമായിരുന്നില്ല... ആ P T യെ യാത്രയാക്കാൻ 3 ലക്ഷം ആളുകൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.... ഒരു ലക്ഷം ആളുകളെ നിരത്തി ഒരു നിരപരാധിയെ പിച്ചി ചീന്തിയ മനുഷ്യരെ ....നിങ്ങൾ കണ്ടില്ലേ 1 കോടി ആളുകൾ നേരിട്ടും അല്ലാതെയും ആ പുണ്യാത്മാവിന് അന്ത്യാഞ്ജലി അർപ്പിച്ചു കരഞ്ഞു യാത്രയാക്കിയത്.... എല്ലാം കാലത്തിന്റെ കയ്യൊപ്പ്.... കാലം നല്ല മനുഷ്യർക്ക് നല്ല കാര്യങ്ങൾ ഈ ഭൂമിയിൽ തന്നെ കാത്തു സൂക്ഷിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടാവും...അല്ല.. ഉണ്ട്

Oommen Chandy യുടെ ഭൗതിക ശരീരം വഹിച്ചു കൊണ്ട് പോയ ബസിൻ്റെ ഡ്രൈവർ പറഞ്ഞതാണ് ഓർമ വരുന്നത് " ജനങ്ങൾ ബസിലേക്ക് ഇരമ്പി എത്തുകയാണ്. കുറെ പേർ ബസിൽ ഇടിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. റോഡിൻ്റെ ഇരുപുറവും കാണാൻ കഴിയുന്നുണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല " . ഇത് പോലെ ഒരു യാത്ര അയപ്പ് കേരളം കണ്ടിട്ടില്ല. ഇനി ഒരിക്കലും കാണാൻ പോകുന്നുമില്ല

Om Shaanti to the great Karma Yogi !🙏 I , like other "Hindus" follow Vedanta philosophy . Per Vedanta there are 4 ways to Moksha: Bhakti Yoga , Karma Yoga (Selfless service), Jnana Yoga and Raja Yoga. I am 100% sure that Mr. Oommen Chandy has attained Moksha through Karma Yoga. He is one of the rare gems closest to the definition of "Nishkama Karma" per Bhagavad Gita. The extreme grace on his face over past few years epitomises this. Such a Sattvic personality! Definition of "Sthithaprajna" per Bhagavad Gita! Om Shaanti again to the great Karma Yogi !🙏

He was a man after God's own heart. Everybody realized his value after his death. he was truly a man of God. I'm not a congress supporter but I really admired this man. God's love shown through his actions. he truly lived for his people and I'm beyond happy that Kerala rewarded him with one of the most remarkable funerals this state has ever seen. No other leader will get such an organic turn out of masses like he did. People stood out for hours despite the weather and time to see Ommen chandy one last time. Who else can boast about that kind of loyalty and ardent admiration? movie stars? No. Politicians? No. Religious leaders? No. He truly deserved a special burial place because he tirelessly strived for the public like how God wants us to do. He will be missed very deeply and its still a shock that he isnt here with us no more. I feel like we truly understood the value of this man after his death
