Even before our first wedding anniversary, they consulted a divorce lawyer. Their plan was to orchestrate a divorce, ensuring my husband's assets would go to his sister. Currently, my sister-in-law is unemployed, while her husband has a low-paying job, yet they live luxuriously with full-time help and expensive gadgets, funded by the parents. My husband covers his parents' expenses despite their pension and other sources of income. They funnel all their earnings to the sister while my husband pays their bills. Additionally, they've purchased multiple properties with loans, with my husband bearing the burden of repayment, yet the properties will be registered in the sister's name. Within a year, I realized my husband was being scapegoated, and with advice from a divorce lawyer and relatives, we moved into a rented house. However, his family's interference persisted, and my husband's toxic behavior (a narcissist extension) became evident through mental, emotional, and physical abuse. Seeking help, I consulted this doctor who diagnosed me with a psychiatric disorder and prescribed medication for me. Despite personal consultations, the doctor insisted the issue lay with me, even in front of my family and husband. This misdiagnosis suited my husband's agenda, as he and his family kept medical records to depict me as mentally unstable, using it as leverage against me legally. The medication led to infertility issues, complicating attempts to conceive naturally or through assisted reproductive techniques. After realizing the true cause of my struggles, I gradually stopped the medication, resolving the infertility issues naturally. Despite my desire for a child, my husband and his family showed no interest, and legal action for domestic abuse was hindered by their claims of my instability. Resorting to IVF, my husband's cooperation was essential to prevent legal repercussions. Throughout the IVF process, they attempted to sabotage it, but I succeeded, and I'm now pregnant. Distancing myself from them, I anticipate their inability to exploit my husband once the baby is born, as it will be his legal heir. My battle against my narcissistic in-laws, exacerbated by an incompetent doctor, highlights the complexities of narcissistic personality disorder and the need for qualified professionals in its diagnosis and treatment. Inefficient doctors pose a greater threat than the disorder itself, capable of manipulating situations to their advantage.
