my husband is a myasthenia patient since 23 yrs. he had same symptoms like double vision, drooping eyelid and took medicines as you told high dose steroid made him diabetic. now by grace of God under control and leading normal life. please take proper medication and diet control with exercise. In foreign countries, government give full support to MG (മൈസ്തീനിയ ഗ്രാവിസ്) patients. Free medicine and support. Patients have to take medicine every 4 hours or they will collapse. Unfortunately, in India there is no support group or government help. This is India. Pain & palliative care volunteers of Jerusalem Marthoma church, Elamkulam, Kochi support two patients ( Brother & sister) aged 32 and 35 years who have MG (മൈസ്തീനിയ ഗ്രാവിസ്). It is very good that Marunadan has taken initiative to publish this .
Madam My first cousin was a Mysthenia Gravis patient. It was diagnosed after her second delivery. Her problem was that while drinking coffee she could not swallow it and suddenly became paralyzed. The treatment was done at Sree Chithira Hospital Trivandrum. She survived till 48 years. The treatment was very expensive and the medicines are rare on those days.

Symptoms started was tosis ( dropping eyelids) , sitting for long time by closing the eyes , sweating, cannot sleep face upwards as she cannot breath , lay towards left was feeling good for her, . We tthought its due to infection
Me also suffering this myasthenia gravis past 29 years.my thymectomy done with out thymoma.so many years i didnot take any medicine.lwas perfectly ok.but after many years ifeel some minor problems like eye drooping.I took tab pyridostigmin once daily.But now a days i have little more problems,so now i am taking three four times daily.
As they told, the medicine is costly, the main medicine which I am taking is around AED 800 for 12 days for me. HAPPY THAT NO COMPANY WILL ACCEPT SUCH HEADACHE HERE.
No metal emotions brother, I am enjoying my life with drinks, where I know that this is not curable and soon I will be dead or alive, and happy to know that you support her where I live with no support from own wife or families, so I enjoy my life for the last moment.

Yes my sister, we are living with this fruit forever, never we will be able to cure this issue but can be controlled. Let me tell you, even in medical field, including my wife, none of them never care about it. As I said, I am taking main tablet 2000 mg per day, the main medicine, with supportive medicines. Welcome to my life my sister, hahaha enjoy our life, we never know where we will be in tomorrow.
I have Granulomatosis with polyangiitis and under treatment. There is no cure for this and only can control with medicines and the tablet is very costly.
Finally, I am enjoying my life being a patient, I don't care my life, we need to die anytime, unless we are greedy for money, and I am not, just worried on my kids
