DURING THE DISCUSSION REGARDING DEFENCE PURCHASE, TO A QUESTION FROM THE OPPOSITION, HE BLUNTLY SAID GOVERNMENT HAS NO MONEY ( IN FACT HE TOLD NOT A SINGLE PAI) TO PURCHASE DEFENCE EQUIPMENT. SECONDLY, ONE CANNOT UNDERSTAND WHAT HE SPEAKS. SOMEONE JOKINGLY SAID HE, HIMSELF, CANNOT UNDERSTAND WHEN HE SPEAKS. HE WAS AND IS A GOOD-FOR-NOTHING PERSON.

100% correct. He didnt have neither patriotism nor ability nor command over any language to effectively communicate. Others showered so many titles on him which he never deserved. Truly he was by all means the one and only blemish of all the Defense ministers India ever had. What a shame.... what a pity... Actually the congress leadership should apologise to the Indian public for the unforgivable sin they have done by making him the ,"good for nothing" Defense minister. A historical blunder.

He can't even speak a sentence in full on any topic convincingly with even 20% content on any platform. I witnessed him speaking at a luncheon organized by the Ambassador of India in Jakarta sometime in the early 2010s.
