My Uric level is 8.1 on a scale of 7.2 being highest . My creatinine level is within normal range . I do not have any symptoms yet however I would like to ask if I can consume protein powder and protein rich food because I go to the gym. I also drink 2-3 ltrs of water everyday. Hai i have nose block oftenly. I can manage it at day time, but at night time its tough for me becz iam over weight person 55yrs old ok. Those two little holes in nose is not sufficient for breathing, so i started using nasivion drops/spray, xylometazoline nasal drops. Which give me relief. Actually these medicine was prescribed when i had fever with high cold (nose block was there severely) still nw iam using it regularly. Iam scared of surgery. What should b done? S i take steaming with plain water.( not regular ok) plz suggest me & others who suffer frm this problem. Thankyou 🙏

i couldn’t find any valid reference of uric acid leading to ed. there are so many other causes of ed that should be detected and corrected, before trying to find an associatin between uric acid and ed.

Good morning Doctor,I am lucky to watch this today,my son is 17years old n once was a junk food eater n was with 100 kg (180 cm height) weight but now he follows a disciplined lifestyle with intense workout and strict diet included.His uric acid level seems to be above 8,he's taking whey protein concentrate as part of weight reduction and is almost getting successful,so could you please advice whether to change the consumption of protein powder,he has no other symptoms

Hi sir mine is 7.92 I have buttock pain after muscle strain happened in gym. I have no other ortho issues as 0er my MRI. Does this uric acid cause the pain?

Hi Afsal, the pain is unlikely to be due to the uric acid. You should get some rest, use hot water compresses to relieve the pain & it will automatically disappear. Please do try to keep your uric acid in the normal range, though .
