Eramayur Mani ...he is a renowned figure among top 10 elephants mahouts in kerala.He was the man behind the rise of one and only Thechikottukavu Ramachandran who hailed as the king elephant of kerala.He has got a commendable experience in this industry and posses variety of knowledge on how we can treat elephants too But still he lives a normal life ...He shows how an elephant can be controlled with out even using the stick or tools.We have a live example from his life itself where he was mastering the one and only thechikottukavu Ramachandran for a lengthier period of 17 years ...During his tenure there were other elephants like kandambully Balanarayanan ,Pattathu Sreekrishnan Mangalamkunnu Karnan ...During most of the festivals there was tight fight between Thechikkottukavu Ramachandran ,Mangalamkunnu Karnan and with kandambully Balanarayanan ... His companion for this activity was his friend Nenmara Raman ...Thiruvanikkavu Rajagopal ,cherupplassery Parthan ,Mangalamkunnu sharan Ayyappan are few of the elephants who was mahouts by Maniettan...now he is with a young turk called Poothrukovil Parthasarathy ....We are starting a small journey here and we invite all of our ulsavakeralam views to be a part of this journey ...welcome all ....
