Thank you , I made it today as per your recipe . First time i cooked this and it came very well . Your instructions are simple and comprehensive . Now it came to my mind , when my father cooked this dish even 30 years ago it was almost same as this . He is no more , but memories are remain as it was . Thank you again and God Bless You !
I live in Australia, I always refer to your RU-vid. I love your cheese board demo. I am sure lots of girls are better cooks with your simple instructions on both Sri Lankan & Western dishes. Thank you & be safe
I love your bissteak recipe, but as usual I add my own ingredients to suit my taste. So, to your ingredients to boil the beef, I added 3 Bay leaves, 3 Star Anise, and some Worcestershire sauce and Soy sauce. The finished dish will be lovely... I hope. I made your මාලු තෙල් විනකාරී recipe and loved it. Thanks.
Its really good program easy to understand also... Simple recipe.... Long time i want to know how to make vegetables chopsee... Only today i learnt im thanking u 4 that...
Dear Anoma Longed for this recipe I vaguley remember from my mother's cooking days, with tasty, peppery beef and onion rings ! .( May God rest her soul ) I did some Googling and found out that Bistec is actually a Spanish word loaned from English Beef Steak.. There is a Filipino Beef Bistec as well. The two dishes are quite different in the method of preparation. So it is definitely not a brocken English word for Beef Steak as many think . Will try out as soon as possible. Thank you once again..
Very nice presentation. She does not take any personal glory, brag her self or say unwanted stuff like so called chefs. She provides the best advise and methodology . My best wishes
Hi Anoma..As I mentioned before ...I love all of your recipes. Your recipes were very similar to our recipes done in the past in Sri Lanka by our mother. Make these kind of recipes on special occasions. I like your cute Motar and Pestle.. still looking for that for me to get for my collection.. could not find it!! Will you be let me know from where to get it please?? Thanks with lots of Love 😍❤🌹🌹
Whenever I need some inspiration, I come to watch your videos (as well as a certain other lady teacher 😉). Thanks for the great recipes, and the techniques.
My husband was waiting for this recipe...we cook almost all the dishes following your recipes. Always comes out deliciously. Yours malu thel vinakira is one of our favorites.
To the Leslie's comment, yes you are right. In English it said as two words "beef steak" . In Spanish this is a loan word from English and pronounce as "bistec". So to make bistec you only use beef. Use the word bistec in context with other type of meet does not make any sense.
