Thank you Mrs Anoma, I learn lot from your videos. I agree with you old is gold. I like learn things which are new to me. And I always encourage my two kids to do their things and they also know they should help their mum and dad.
Dear Anoma. I read your last episode regarding the advice you gave for daughters. That was a good topic . That is a must for a lady like you.because you can speak to lots of daughters. I am married for 27 years. Happy life , there are ups and downs. My son is 25. Getting ready to get married next year. He learnt a lot during this period in the kitchen, to cook and clean. I appreciate your work. Take more strength for your work. I love my son’s bride as a daughter. Not as a daughter in law. Because if I don’t do so I will loose my son God bless you.
You are so sweet auntie 🥰. Nice to see somebody who has this kind of an attitude towards their daughter in laws. She is extremely lucky to have you🤩. Go bless.
The way you say is soo soothing to hear aunty Anoma. My mother is abroad these days and missing her so much. The way you advice saying Doola ta kiyala it soo heart touching and continue to have such great contents.. I learned a lot. And having to get married in few months, this made a huge impact. Don’t let the haters get to you aunty ❤️ it hurts when the truth is being spoken ! As a girl who’s jst 22, I must say your advice is quite timely ! For a very long I was convinced that after a while all marriages go South .. but after watching your videos and seeing how happy you seem to be with your loving husband , I started believing once again in love and a long lived marriage life 💕 Thank you from the bottom of my heart! ❤️
Criticism is something natural among us especially in a county like Sri Lanka. May be the ones who have criticized your advices are not lucky enough to understand the value of each word you say ma’am. It’s okay please share more advices like this with us. I’m a girl age of 27 who is about to marry. These videos and what you try to tell us are really means a lot. Thank you so much ma’am.
I believe Your valuable advise is equally applicable for working and stay-at-home mothers and wives. You are an inspiration to all the young mothers. We learn a lot from you aunty 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Dear Mrs Anoma, being a busy professional myself i am new to your videos. As we all are jobless these days I got the chance to watch your videos and enjoy some of your lovely recipes. I fully agree with what you say on this video and the previous. These are very good advice for everyone. Thank you and I wish you good health and strength to continue to do your wonderful work.
Thank you so much for doing this video with valuable information. You’re so great to think about the happiness of others. My elders didn’t give such advice to me.
100% agree with you Aunty Anoma . Old is Gold and just because parents don't give these knowledge to their children divorce % in Sri Lanka goes up . Thanks alot for sharing this valuable knowledge with younger generation . I just married and your knowledge gave me so much strength to face new life ❤️❤️.
Anoma anty oya kiyala dena ewa godak hodai. Apita jiwithe gana therum aranan viwaha jivithe idiriyata geniyanna godak udau wenawa. Thank you very very much anty.
Dear Anoma you gave an excellent example for the younger generation. I agree with you,I was a teacher with three sons and busy with my extra classes had servants too..But l did my cooking and sawing and fulfilled my duties as a wife and as a mother.l too followed my parents and my husband alway appreciated my work as he knew my busy schedule. I always appreciate and respect your advice. Now we are retired and peacefully parked and my sons are always following us living happily but we never interfere their family life.Feeling so happy when l listened your podcasts, Stay blessed Anoma,!!
Old fashioned or not your way is the only way to lead a happy, fulfilled successful family life. Appreciate your efforts. We hardly hear valueble advices like this nowadays. Now all the rage is about making husbands do the house work.
This is Christine replying. Wow! Niyama video wak tharuna vivahaka ayata. Oba video vak karanna vivakaka uwalakage dayawa karunawa kepaveema garuthwaya wewaha vunu dawasesita digatama thibiauthubawa. Awa muladawaswalata pamanak thiniba pramanawath Nethe. Thanks. Have a great day and enjoy life. God bless you. ❤❤❤
Aunty Anoma please talk about mother in laws as well. I saw how my mother became the best friend of my sister in law..They are like sisters..and my aunts too had wonderful mother in laws and all i dreamt was a mother in law like my mother..unfortunately I was not that lucky... Talk about how most mothers cant let go of thier sons and that feeling of possesivenes. I tried my best but she never changes she would even find something wrong with a strand of hair. I miss mother and I m really sad that i could not have the relationship i longed for.
Same here dr ..She has tarnished my dignity with my husband's relatives..bt i didnt care now.She will own what she does..I have make up my mind now.All is Karma.nt our faults..😐😳 I also couldnt find the bond of my mother in law.All is jealousy..
Dear aunty Anoma, I am glad you specifically say that last video is about wives who enjoy staying at home delegating household work to helpers. That video makes sense that way. Otherwise it would carry a misleading message along wiht good messages. But still, some stories in it covered up wrong doings of husbands with less attention of wives. Such ideas should not be spreaded among a large audience. And I happily agreeing to the message you pass from this video. Thank you for the effort taken. You are right, even though I am also a busy wife with a very helpful husband, I choose to own some tasks like tea making and we two have little tea party like things in most of the evenings. I see how my husband looks happy when I bring the evening tea to him. That is like one of our main chat times. So we as wives should be thoughtful enough to try and do little things which would keep the warmth of the family. Husbands would also have such little things to do from their side (Like bringing flowers may be ☺️) What little things to do and what tasks to be shared should obviously differ from family to family. So it is our responsibility to to choose the right rhythm which matches the lifestyle.
Anoma, This is Nalaka's wife Kumari. This explanation completely blames the woman for a possibility of divorce! Unbelievable. I am a 62 year old retired teacher, mother of three and grandmother of five. I have been married for 42 years. I believe communication is the key to a successful marriage. Since our honeymoon, my husband has been making tea every morning and he still does. That's something he enjoys doing for me. His parents were teachers and he was raised well. His mother made sure her four sons learned to be respectful of women, learn to cook, even sew! Hat's off to my mother-in-law. If she is still alive, she would be 106 years old, yet she was a wise woman, a feminist without even realizing it. It's time we women took power, realize that we are equal, human rights apply to us women too. We are not less. Imagine if we women ran the world, there wouldn't be any wars and this pandemic might be already iradicated. Way to go New Zealand! Everyone (both men & women) should be a FEMINIST! So, please be very mindful when you do your videos. Language and words are very powerful. BTW, I love your recipes.
