Pat is slowly realising that it's not easy to _go back to what they were_ cuz the feelings aren't the same anymore. They both grew & matured, & grew apart for 2 years & it's not easy to just magically go back to that time. It seems like Pat didn't wanted to kiss Put & he kept debating in his head but decided to go with it anyway cuz Put was expecting that kiss. But as soon as he kissed, Pat realised that this isn't the same anymore. He decided to go to the party instead cuz he feels far more better that way. And I think Put already knows that Pat doesn't feel the same for him anymore, and he always kinda knew it but decided to give it a chance anyway. When Put told "You're already in the finish line from the beginning" to Jeng, he already knew it's a losing game, but he wanted to atleast give it a try to not to have regrets, cuz he was the reason they broke up last time. The more Pat realises what he actually wants & who he actually likes, the more Put gonna be heartbroken, but it feels like Put was ready for that from the beginning.

Jeng and Jaab being the most attractive pair of brothers I’ve ever seen… Jaab is so beautiful it’s not even funny. I can’t wait for him and Jen to get together. Idk how Jen can even resist him..

A minute of JengPat is more meaningful than half episode suffers from PatPut 😩

"Are you tired? I see that you're taking on so many responsibilities" "No. I just got here" "Yes. But I've been around for a long time" Jeng & Put having cold war 👁👄👁

The smallest gestures and glances between Jeng and Pat have more meaning than anything Put can do for Pat. Just Pat, our baby is so lonely and so unaware/shy of/for his feelings for Mr Jeng. It's ok, he needs more time, our cutest boy.

Now this is what we call plot based series … I know many people are fed up but this is truly the most realistic relationship development in any series we have seen 😊 its slow paced and realistic in so many aspects from love office life work relationships etc … I like it ❤

I don’t care what anyone says, it’s so nice to have a series not jump into the relationship then wait til the second to last ep to add in something dumb to get in the way! We get to see Pat work out his feelings as a 20 something with a past love and future one. 🤷🏻‍♀️to me that’s better than all the insta love and 18+ scenes people beg for.

The way jeng brothers have unrequited loves has to be studied

This series really works well with the series name it's insane that the plot is really step by step for the main couple.. Haiyaaaa after 2 weeks of suffering i'm so done🥴

Everyone’s complaining about getting alot of putpat kiss scenes but can’t they see it’s literally an important part of the storyline.. its showing us how uncomfortable pat feels with him now… I guess people just hate slowburn storylines 🤷‍♀️

Pat really is TERRIBLY cute .. and watching Jeng smile so widely was such a heartwarming experience.

Love how Put respected Pat’s boundaries to not rush him into xxx. Pat clearly didn’t want to with Put after he kissed him because he didn’t feel the connection between them but he also felt guilty because he thought Put will think he led him on. Pat is starting to see the reality that yes they both want each other but the idea of being together is better than what they have now. Pat is being hit with some real world **** that adults go through all the time when dealing with finding a partner at such a young age. I personally think Ben is conveying those emotions and thoughts perfectly ❤

I love how they showed Pat being hesitant 8:01 8:02 8:07 when giving a kiss after Put asked if he likes him. It’s definitely not the same between them, it feels kinda forced even, as if Pat is not letting himself go 8:35. And the way he reacted 8:39 the production has nailed it! Kudos to both actors for showing how is not easy to “start over” like you have some kind of reset button, especially to Ben as Pat when realizing this is not what he’s looking for 9:22. And Put must know, oh he knows 11:06. There are mixed feelings and Pat needs a break to realize more things. I really loved the scene 💕

Put already accepted his defeat after that kissing scene. And, it really shows that he's hurt. Good job, Up!!! ❤️

I know character developing is important for script but we are already on ep 7.Where on earth the progressing interactions between main characters? This series is definitely taking one step at a time and making me feel impatient.😂😂

i am so happy that they had pat and put kiss. (i love this new trend in BL where they actually let actors kiss outside of their intended ship! the BL industry is maturing and not listening to the immature netizens who pout when their fave pairing arent always together. i like it like this because it is much more realistic. and i dont think any (or barely any) of the BL on screen couples are actually together irl and i hate watching them have to answer uncomfortable questions and act jealous to get their fangirls to scream and cry.) but anyway, i digress, i was first worried because pat and put were avoiding the lips the entire scene until the end but it made sense after they finally did kiss because it made pat realize (i think) that put is not who he wants. he most likely didn't feel any strong feelings from the kiss and when he is with jeng he gets butterflies just being in his presence and they arent even kissing. i know a lot of people are disappointed at the slow burn but i am loving seeing pat try again with put because jeng isnt saying anything so pat doesnt think there is a chance there. it makes sense for someone to try to move on when their crush doenst look like they reciprocate their feelings. :) especially with an ex who you did like at one point and who you know likes you and they are familiar and comfortable... i just am loving this direction!!

I’m glad step by step is now getting the attention it deserves. This is a gem.

13:25 MY FAV MOMENT FROM EP 7 (3/4) Mr. Jeng getting himself ready to talk to Pat. 🥹 Jeng initiates body language that makes him appear nonchalant so Pat feels comfortable. Jeng playing with his fingers out of nervousness. Mr. Jeng can’t help but smile when looking @ Pat Jeng doesn’t say a word until Pat does 🥺 Mr. Jeng gets lost in Pat’s eyes while trying to have some self control. He looks down or to the side to avoid staring but Jeng still appreciates their small glances. Tension is high 😭 Mr. Jeng has so much he wants to say to Pat, however he wants to do it in a timely manner that won’t harm the relationship they have built. Mr. Jeng has already fallen for Pat but Pat thinks that they could never end up with each other. Especially after Pat finding out the attractive guy from the coffee shop, turned out to be his authoritative boss. I am loving the character development, it’s more realistic and heartfelt than trying to make the main characters fall in love within the first 4 eps. This series so far, has touched on certain topics that I find most people can relate to. It is refreshing to see these actors embrace their roles and really honor the feelings of their individual characters.

The verbal fencing between Jeng and Put is such a nice touch. What I like about it is each one is clear on where they stand when it comes to Pat but they don't act like two ego-bruised testosterone over it. The subtle parting shots are enough to convey their feelings.

Bro Thai bls have conditioned the minds of fans to be soo used to instant gratification. It’s kind of weird that at this point all people watch bl for is to see nsfw scenes. I’m personally very happy with the slow pace at which this is going. It gives it a more realistic feel and I just love angst😩. This almost feels like I’m friends with these people and I understand their struggles and hesitations. Bl (especially Thai bls) always end up feeling like fairy tale stories for me so I love love this. I had to hold back from literally going insane not seeing an episode last week.

I don't usually go for slowburn series but this is just gold, the emotions of falling in love gradually is the cutest and we get to see the intimacy develop as they interact more with each other and I love that... ❤️❤️

it's so obvious, that Pat does not have feelings for Put. In scene there Put asked if Pat likes him, after a kiss he didn't answer, also he seemed frustrated and sad. However, when Pat sees his boss, everything changes. That is so interesting to follow, those minor changes in Pat's behavior with Put and Boss

And like I said, he already has a doubts, that kiss only proofed that he has no remaining feelings for Put. It's just a matter of time. His mood switched the moment he saw Jang all smiling on that sofa, btw he looked 🤤 hot 🔥. He is so natural with him, his dumb drunk talk was adorable. At the way Jang looks at Pat even when he makes a fool of himself 😊

I'm a bit shocked that Put got so jealous over Pat being comforted by Jeng that he felt he needed to put Jeng in his place and call him unprofessional. I was literally egging Jeng on the entire time that he didn't dare cross that line and hug Pat to comfort him 555 He is really struggling to maintain the last bits of distance between himself and Pat which is a damn hard thing to do when Pat is so damn precious - see 14:55 for Jeng looking about ready to throw caution to the wind and call Pat cute!! Love that it took Pat one single kiss to realize that he doesn't feel what he used to for Put. The fact that the lighting in this scene was so cold and blue-toned, with Put dressed in all-black, yet as soon as Pat leaves that little bubble and goes to the wrap party, everything's bathed in warm light and there's Jeng, wearing almost all-white, smiling at him and looking nervously-excited. :)

“You should separate work and personal matters” 1:09 BRAVO! That’s what I said in the first part as Put’s behavior was uncalled for. I’m not gonna blame Pat, because it was actually Put not controlling himself, flirting in the open as if he wanted everyone to see he’s with Pat. And Pat has been working hard in this project. Jeng has trusted he is capable of handling it. Ok, he loves Pat and he reacts when someone is trying to lecture him and put him in disadvantage, but he should control his emotions. I do love the way Jeng is being logical here and he’s protecting Pat ^^

Do you guys know, when you watching two lovebirds from a drama, and they are about to kiss and you're like yessss and then something interrupt them and you are like noooo? lol well I was actually waiting for something to interrupt this kiss 😅 but nope, it happened, and I I see it in a different perspective, this kiss needed to happen for Pat to realize he doesn't feel anything for put, he doesn't have feelings for him anymore.

I have never been so disinterested in a kissing scene 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 What is happening? When do they break-up?

We’re on episode 7 already…it’s time for Jeng and Pat to develop their feelings not Pat wasting his time on Put. Btw I know minor characters also need screen time but instead of focusing on the side story, we need the main couples to have more screen time like Jaab and Jane they rarely have scenes together.

People need to shut it sometimes, if you don't like slow phase story then leave, it's that easy. The staff behind this series definitely knows the second lead syndrome and they are giving us the chance to see of 'what ifs' that couldn't happen in other series. Put is not a villian and we all know if they didn't give Put a chance to lay all his cards with Pat it would leave a bad taste to the viewers and they would literally root for the second lead. But in this series they kinda make Daddy Jeng with second lead vibes and now people are literally rooting for him which should be the case cause he's the ML... I definitely don't dislike the slow phase and I'd be enjoying the ride til the very end, kudos to all the staff behind this series...

The title step by step really suits this series, how complicated Pat is faced with the past, and the future together. The boundaries between each of the character developments are consistent with the meaning of the title. Jeng's awkwardness when Pat leaned his head on Jeng's chest, and he didn't take the opportunity to make intimate gestures like hugging Pat. It may seem simple but the limits that Jeng does when he is with Pat, and vice versa, gives its own meaning to the title of this series. Sorry if my words don't match the interpretation of other viewers, but this is what I got after watching this series so far. Sorry if I always discuss the connection between the scene in the film and the title, but this is what keeps me watching this series.
