Chot continues to remain my favorite character on this series. He’s exactly the kind of friend & co-worker Pat needed in his work environment, and I he’s given so many great lines.

Nobody talks about how Chot is the mother, the father, the icon of those series. I love the character. Actually all the friend characters have something great about them

Jen saying to Jaab that he didn’t mean to kiss him, was like an arrow through the heart to me, so I can’t even imagine how Jaab must’ve felt. The two of them need to sit down and communicate to each other properly, and tell each other their feelings. At the moment it’s just misunderstanding after misunderstanding with them…

As "slowly" as this is moving, I actually find it really nice and refreshing that Jeng cares about his position as a boss and isn't being super inappropriate with Pat before he knows for sure at least that Pat has feelings for him. Very realistic. Or at least I hope most bosses would be this way 😌 It shows that he's not a total dirtbag haha

I love Jeng as a character and I think he’s the one being brilliantly modulated to the circumstances he is in. I actually feel the shift in his character as the series progresses. Man’s performance should be praised more, and people misplace their focus sometimes because the man is hot af, but jokes aside, Man really is a good actor. He sells really well his character as the boss leading others and even his awkwardness is well delivered taking into consideration how we saw his stiff relationship with his father. He has had the best character development 💕

You say slow pacing? I say quality production. I am delighted to see Jeng melting to cute drunk Pat. Thank God Production really knows about what they are doing! ♥

This episode is a whole emotional roller coaster. The way Jen trying to explain everything and Jaab hurting feelings expressed really well. '' I think that we should we should stay as friends'' this is the most saddest feeling ever.

It's definitely a slow burn, but very realistic and there is a lot of attention to detail. In usual bl, after the drinking scene, things would escalate and jump in to a new chapter, but here jeng drops pat off to a room with another staff, and it all feels very much like real life. Man's acting has to be my favorite, he just is perfect for the role.

I just love Ben’s drunk acting and then Jeng endeared eyes and smiles for him it’s just such a cute funny sight to see.

This is seriously one of my top BL’s… I’m so glad I accidentally discovered it. Everything about it is so refreshing compared to other series.

I love how they are showing Jeng being endeared with a cute and drunk Pat again 5:41 5:44 falling more in love with him, while Pat is realizing he’s not in love with Put. A lot of y'all talking about the series being too slow or whatever but its actually the best bl thai series that i have seen so far, as for this episode, a lot of y'all are actually complaining about it being too slow but actually is really important, jeng already knows how HE feels about pat, pat is yet to realize HIS feelings, he needed to know he feels about put and jeng, and now that he knows he no longer has any feelings towards put, we can see him starting to look at jeng in a romantic way and him himself BEING aware of it, now he is consciously aware of jeng in a romantic way (not just as his boss ) we can now see him falling in love with jeng which is going to be the beginning of THEIR love story and that starts in episode 8. There has to be a conclusion to patput before patjeng can officially start. Episode 7 needed to happen before Episode 8. Hope this helps ✌🏽

We can see how baby Pat feels more comfortable and safe when he is with Jeng. I really love how they show slow romance and the manners and care that realistic gentleman boss should have. Jeng's care, his smile, his feeling for baby, that's really called character development. I really love this series. ❣️

I love this show so much! I tried to endure PatPut being lovey dovey, but Jeng comes around and the man’s eyes don’t lie. His patience is both killing me and making me fall in love. I feel for Jaab and Jen. They need a heart to heart. I can’t wait for next week! Side note: it should be illegal for brothers to be that sexy!!

They are tackling the cheating in a realistic way and not with the boyfriend being nonexistent or straight up the villain and with a character who was two timing and the other feeling regret after the kiss. I thought Jaab wouldn’t care about Jen having a boyfriend, but he didn’t relish in participating in the act of kissing someone taken. And after knowing Jen broke up with his boyfriend everything between them wasn’t magically fixed, so I’m happy because Jaab has shown a better character. I did feel like Jen was leading him on with his behavior and ambiguous remarks, so this 14:41 is satisfying to see 👀 Jaab deserves better 💕

It was definitely worth it waiting 2 weeks, it was such important episode, I know that 3/4 of people are disappointed because of the putpat kiss, but that was absolutely needed. Well performed 🎭 btw, the sudden realization on Pat face says it all. And slowly Jang for Pat becoming a comfort zone, the way he comforted him and hug him when he needed it and how his mood changed when he sat next to him on the party. And let's not forget how adorable he hangs himself on Jang while being completely wasted 😅😅 he is very chill 😊 with Jang. That's a good sign. I admire Jaab for his very mature behavior, it must hurt when he had to say to the person he loves "we should stayed friends" I feel so sorry for him, but he handled it like a pro. I don't know what Jen was expecting after what he's done and said. But I know they are meant to be together ❤️

What a good episode this was, lots of heavy-lifting here to show Pat's changing thoughts and feelings! Also I'm thrilled to see that Jaab, who was crushing so hard on Jen at the beginning, finally realized what a shitty situation he got himself into. In the end, it doesn't matter if Jen broke up with his boyfriend or not. I'm proud of Jaab.

I love Man’s expressions for Jeng, he’s such a charismatic character

I’m all on board here, but I really want all the episodes we have left to focus on the development of Jeng and Pat as something more than having a work related relationship. It’s time to build a bridge for their gaps. We already know how is their work dynamic, we saw them with others talking about work, we learned some new terms, and we appreciate it, so I think it’s time for the romance, it’s time for it to come a little faster not at a snail pace, as we are in the second half of the series already. Again, Man is doing an outstanding job as Jeng, he’s my favorite. There are nuances in his acting that I like and there’s a subtlety in the way he carries himself that attracts anyone. I love his facial expressions, how he smiles, his awkward behavior which is endearing and how you can tell he’s falling more and more in love. Well done, Man! And thank you because the Lazy Gang just disappeared and I’m not missing Ying. I just miss Nan, she is not part of the gang but she treats Pat so well ^^

The kiss gives Pat a realization that he might not have the same feeling with Put. As for me, Pat just needed closure and he cannot conceal his growing feelings with his boss-- 'it is slowly but surely' while between him and Put is just a 'spur of the moment'. Seeing your ex after 2 years, who left you hanging you just want to answer each question stuck in your head for long. Between the second lead, Jaab just wanted to confirm that he is not the cause of Mon's break up. That it is not because he became somehow pushy. It's like an affirmation he wanted, that from friends their feelings both developed for something more, it was romanticized already...and the kiss was intentional like a signal that "okay, we are on the next level", not a wrong or mixed-signal.

I don't know you guys, but I got really excited during this episode... I mean, with all these plot twists...OMG! This is exactly what I was waiting for. Thank you, guys. See you next week for another beautiful episode❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥✌🏽✌🏽☺️☺️

This series seriously has the best script of all time. All of it is so logical and normal. That's how love goes in real life. The actors are perfect in their role and they make us feel the emotions. Step by Step really shows how love is created step by step. It's quite long and detailed but you're never tired of watching.

Aaaaargh! I can’t believe that I’ve fallen down the Step By Step rabbit hole! And instead of waiting for the series to finish up so that I can binge watch, I now wait impatiently for each episode. It’s too good! Seeing Mr. Jeng’s and Put’s subtle verbal fencing over Pat is very intriguing when you know that in the characters’ minds they are alpha dogs snapping at each other and viciously going for each other’s throat. And Pat is obviously having second thoughts about being with Put. Next week won’t come soon enough!!!

People are complaining the slow freaking burn of the main couple and the pace of this series but for me it's a realistic and high quality production. The pace and progress of relationship between JengPat are so realistic (Boss & employee who are slowly getting to know each other and starting to develop romantice feelings for each other ) and at the same time what's happening between PutPat also very realistic (former lovers who still have lingering feelings with each other but at the same time they know things aren't the same anymore like it used to be which is a proper closure is very much needed for the status) which something you don't always see in a bl series. The series name itself is Step By Step so people should've already expected such slow burn in the first place lmao this series is not the typical bl series where the main characters had their "love at first sight" moments, flirting then boom! Dating and doing all those intimate love scenes in only few eps. I mean if that's what you enjoy watching then this series is probably not for you. 🤷‍♀️

This was SUCH a good episode, I'm really loving this series! Also, did you notice Jeng is calling Pat cute like someone in love or a relationship does, and though Pat may not fully realise how Jeng feels about him, he would feel that moment as he is not used to being called cute and he has been done so by two men interested in him during the one same trip. I like how the writers made a point of showing that connection there. Also, I feel like Pat doesn't feel entirely comfortable with Put. Sometimes past feelings just can't be rekindled easily, especially when too much time has passed and Pat has evolved as a person and in regards to his emotional needs also. Being apart from Put for two years too, he can now see the red flags more clearly. Put may have been an important part of Pat's past, but not fulfill his emotional needs for the present and future and I feel like Pat is recognising this, though he is trying to give things a chance. Also, can I just say that Jengs' love for Pat is so beautifully portrayed? He is such a gentle nurturing soul when he is in love. Pat can also feel this side of Jeng, even if he is not fully aware of Jengs feelings for him, and this is why Pat seeks him out for comfort when he is in need. Put can no longer fullful this role, and this speaks volumes. Slow burn for the win here guys! Also LOVE the nod to Lovely Writer with the karaoke music there haha! Regarding Jaab and Jen, what a tricky situation. I feel like Jen was trying to explain to Jaab that because of what he feels for Jaab now, he broke things off with Mon, but Jaab cut his explanation short because he feels like he has been rejected by Jen as he was apologising for the kiss. Jen didn't apologise for the kiss because he didn't like it, but because it was wrong of him to put Jaab in that position considering his relationship status at the time. But I think Jaab is too hurt to realise this. Bring on the next episode I say, things are brewing wonderfully!

I think I have rough idea of where all this is going, and I have to say I really like the way they are going with the relationship arcs.they are actually taking the time to show us the processes involved in how each character developing and evolving and the situations involved in making those developments happen. Classy. Certainly makes a change from"ooops I just tripped over and accidentally fell into this random guys arms and now we're deeply in love now" we usually get from other series

For those people who expect to see JengPat’ kissing scene. If they kiss in this episode, theirs will not be different from JabJane’s kiss in previous episode. Because Pat is talking with Put rn. This episode is very realistic. Pat wants comfort love more than passion love. Because A lack of passion isn't a bad thing, though! It means that you've reached a new stage of your relationship. The definition of comfort is “a state of being relaxed; satisfaction provided by a person.” You know all there is to know about your partner, and you feel completely relaxed enough to be your true self.

I think what Jaab did was actually correct cause he doesn't want to ba a replacement for someone in Jen's life, and after he said he didn't meant to kiss Jaab it sting a lot😣😣

P'Jeng is so captivatingly handsome. Everytime he appears on screen, my heart flutters. He really exudes that boss type of character. Pat is very endearing in the eyes. You can't help but love him. He is a cute drunk. These two are very compatible with each other.
