ဆရာကာပြန် အာခေါင်လှံစူး နောက်ခံပုံပြင် 

ရှေးအခါက ယောက်ျားတစ်ယောက်သည် မြစ်အနီးရှိ ကတွတ်ပေါက်၌ ငါးကိုမြှောက်ကစားနေ သော ဗျိုင်းကို မြင်တွေ့ရာ အတုယူပြီး သစ်ချွန်များကို ကောင်းကင်သို့ ပစ်မြှောက်၍ မြေသို့မကျမီ ပါးစပ်ဟ ခံယူနိုင်အောင် လေ့ကျင့်လေသည်။။ ထိုမှ တစ်ဆင့်ပြီး တစ်ဆင့် အုတ်ခဲ၊ လှံတံ၊ သန်လျက် စသည်တို့ကို ပစ်မြှောက်ပြီး မြေသို့မကျမီ ပါးစပ်ဖြင့် ကိုက်နိုင်အောင် လေ့ကျင့်လေသည်။ ထိုသူ သည် မိမိ၏ကျွမ်းကျင်မှုကို တစ်ရွာဝင်တစ်ရွာထွက် ပြသရာ လူအများသဘောကျ၍ ဆုလာဘ်များ စွာရလေသည်။ ထိုယောက်ျား၏ သတင်းကို ပြည့်ရှင်မင်းကြားသော် မင်းပွဲသဘင် မင်းရင်ပြင်သို့ ဝင်ရောက် ပြသစေသည်။ ထိုသူ၏ အံ့မခန်းသည့် ပညာစွမ်းကို မင်းကြီးမြင်၍ အသင်၏ ဆရာသည် မည်သူနည်း ဟုမေးရာ ထိုသူက ဗျိုင်းထံမှ ရကြောင်း ဝန်မခံလို၍ သူ့မှာ ဆရာမရှိကြောင်း ဖြေကြား လေသည်။ ထို့နောက်တစ်ဖန် လှံကစား ပြန်သော် လှံသွားသည် အာခေါင်၌ စူးဝင်ကာ သေဆုံးရလေ သည်။ (ကာပြန် = ကျေးဇူးရှင်ကို ဖက်ပြိုင်အန်တုသည်။) ပုတ္တောဝါဒဆုံးမစာ။ ၄၄။
Here is the story that provides context for this proverb:
In ancient times, a man saw a heron that tossed up a fish and then caught it with its mouth to eat near the water's edge by a river. The man imitated that heron and began practicing by throwing sharp sticks into the air and catching them with his mouth before they hit the ground. Gradually, he advanced to throwing and catching heavier objects like bricks and spears with his mouth.
As his skill improved, he traveled from village to village, demonstrating his talent and receiving much praise and rewards. When the king heard of this man's remarkable ability, he invited him to perform at the royal court. The king was impressed and asked the man who his teacher was. Not wanting to admit that he had learned from the heron, the man claimed he had no teacher.
Later, while performing the spear-catching trick again, the spear went wrong and pierced his throat, causing his death.

This teaches us that acknowledging our sources and inspirations is crucial, as it keeps us grounded, honest, and aware of our own limitations.
