You don't understand physics at all. By hooking the rope to the center of gravity, the truck cannot be turned over, but only lifted. The excavator had to stand on the other side of the truck, hook the cable to the upper wheels and pull towards itself, but not lift.

Good video, the excavator could easily have achieved the recovery it just needed a short chain to the bottom wheels so when the excavator boomed out it would rotate the truck, I did like the unrestrained 20 ton excavator just sitting on the truck and being driven away,

It's very strange for me as an American and know that the stuff these guys do is dangerous and against OSHA rules. But they are in Cambodia which I guess don't have no safety rules. The Americans here would be too afraid to attempt the things those guys do. I send kudo's to these guys for not being afraid of danger.

There people should not be allowed near any truck bigger than a pickup! Just one example is the landing gear was 8 inches below the other one. Evidently the cross bar came off some time in the past. To much thinking before making the legs the same height.

How can a Prime Mover and Semi Trailer fall over onto their side on flat ground? Overload and/or speed as this is not a brake failure. To save money we will use an incompetent amateur with an excavator and wreck the Prime Mover. Then we'll pay for a recovery vehicle with a crane. This time we realise what is wrong, it's called the operator. Is paying men $2 a day to smash a $250,000 rig good business?

Al lthat time on its side and when upright, he starts it up without checking the oil etc. I was thinking it would be hydrolocked. Off he goes to get a load as if nothing happened. lol.
