This is the type of content we need in the world today. A lot of us who are nearing 30 or 30 and up feel so lost and as if time is Running out. It’s never too late my people!

If this is not gods doing….. At this moment, I was second guessing my decision to move to Korea for a year on my own eat pray love journey, and I opened up RU-vid and saw this video! Thank you for posting this ❤️

Just did this in 2019 at age 38, I thought i was old until I met some of my class mates age 42-43. Such an amazing experience. One of the best things I ever done for myself.. it changed and healed me completely 🇫🇷 ❤

Would you mind sharing some of the signs or things you felt that made you end your last engagement? Maybe that's not worth a video; but, seeing how you and Jeannie both ended significant relationships only to find yourselves in new and amazing ones, I think it would be so helpful to hear your thoughts on how you knew to let the old thing go.

I’m 29 years old and I got married when I was extremely young and we have 2 kids (still together) However, I definitely feel like I need a solo trip to understand and love myself more without being mommy or Wifey! With turning 30 soon this story was extremely inspiring ♥️ I appreciate these kinds of stories so much because young adults need to hear them, it’s a very gray area that is always missed between your late 20’ and early 30’s. I moved to UK two years ago for university. Being alone and independent, especially during Covid made me grow up and so much braver, and last summer I spent 3 weeks in Scotland. Went to all the major cities, took the bus everywhere and just explored to my hearts content. Doing a major trip like that at 22 was such a privilege and I felt so empowered. Every woman should travel alone at least once in her life, it’s AMAZING 😍😍. Paris is my next solo trip, here’s to me going next summer! ❤️

I did my first solo trip 3 years ago at 25 to Thailand. I tell everyone to do it ! I was extremely scared because this was the other part of the world lol but to this day, of all the places I’ve traveled to, this trip will always be my favorite. You learn SOOO much about yourself that u didn’t even know exist.

I loved this story! I would go to France, Italy, or even a Caribbean location.

Studying abroad at 25 was THE best experience of my life! I am so grateful to have done it and I hope that everyone can do it. Luckily I went when I went back to University. I thought it was too late but this is proof that it is not. Maybe in the future you can have scholarships for people to study abroad as another way to give back with all the other things you do. The Bailon Study Aboard scholarship!

I’ve wanted to go to Barcelona ever since I saw Cheetah Girls 2 😭❤️! Im in college and I was literally JUST debating whether I should still go abroad 😭 (I had every intention before - then COVID hit 🙃) Paris, Barcelona, Santorini, and Tuscany are on my travel 🧳 list!

I went to Berlin a lot on my own and it’s such an amazing feeling being somewhere else on your own - especially if you’ve suffered from anxiety for a large part of your life. Couldn’t recommend travelling alone more! It’s such a freeing experience!

I have traveled alone to Berlin for 3 months and it was by far the most pivotal period for self growth in my life. I have finally met me on that trip.. all of me, unfiltered. As a reference for the sweetness of life and living in the sweet spot, as they say, I always think of those 3 months. Magical🌟

Loved that you shared this story! I also did the Paris school thing in my 30s and I kid you not, it was the best experience of my life. Living in a foreign country on your own and learning to navigate your new environment helps you grow so much and I definitely enjoyed the freedom even through the lonely times. Paris is a dream and the city keeps you company.

Honestly every since I saw cheetah girls 2, I have always wanted to go to Spain. Loved this. Definitely gave me comfort knowing that me questioning everything isn’t wrong. People tell you how life should be and you see others doing the things that are expected, it’s nice to know that it’s okay to question and choose differently if it’s what’s best for you!

Loved what you did! Made me emotional a bit because a lot of us go so long without getting to know the true us, but once we take the time to be alone and like you, go to restaurants alone or even movies, journal etc. you realize just how great you are. It’s been a while since I’ve gone out on a date with myself, not counting the trips to run errands for the kids, and without the Hubby etc., and you’ve inspired me to make a reservation at a nice restaurant and do so. Traveling abroad and studying in Europe has been one of my biggest and greatest desires for such a long time now. Watching this video was so sweet and inspirational. I LOVE THIS - it really is hard in your 30s because it seems time for change is dwindling. My Fiancé and I have just decided to put a pause on building a house to have a great adventure. We are in our early 30s and thought lets just do it. Moving to Dubai from Dublin next year. Everything will work out in the long run! Just taking a new route.

I did a solo trip to Italy a couple of years ago. It was during a really difficult time in my life, and I can say that trip changed me forever. It helped me fall in love with myself too. I think I am more me now than I’ve ever been, and that solo trip had a a lot to do with it. I wish I could do a whole study abroad trip there. Your story is awesome!

I love this video. I’ve never been by myself. I got married early and three years later started having children. Now, I just love the days when the kids are at school and my husband is at work. You don’t realize how much you need time to yourself until you get to spend time alone.

Studying abroad in Paris was also the best thing I’ve ever done. I loved it there. I got to go back again a few times, I still love it.

I felt this episode. Im so grateful to God that you were able to do this and found yourself and the person you are because of it. I had a similar experience on my study abroad program, I went to Valenica, Spain for an academic year by myself and the person I was going there was not the same person when I left. It took me on a journey or rediscovering myself, my likes, dislikes, my weaknesses, strengths and really just who God had called me to be and not be. It was very hard at times but I wouldnt be where I am now without it. ♥♥

I love this! I travelled alone throughout my late teens to early 20s. My first international trip alone was when I was 22 - I travelled to the country side of France. I remember leaving my sister in Paris after had travelled together to go on this trip. I bawled my eyes out on the train, but it was the most incredible experience I've ever gone through and I am so glad my heart led me to there.

Omg, girl I am American and live in France and the way you are describing it is perfect. One of my favorite activities is walking the streets with nowhere to go. IT is relaxing, peaceful and can get emotional because the streets and everyone in it are so beautiful
