Juliais sooo right when she said about those who criticize romance books and films. This genre may bring much money for this industry but as it is made for "female"... romances are dispised. I am glad people, men as well as women love Bridgerton and made review about it. Her comments are great, look forward for more interviews like this

I have read ALL of Julia Quinn’s books beginning with her first series and have enjoyed them enough that I have read them over and over again. It seems that I cannot get enough of them.

My condolences to JQ and her family. She seems like such a lovely person, and her books have brought so much joy to this world. No one deserves to go through some thing like that. :(

Love that she pointed out how rare and unknown the feminine gaze is in mainstream fiction that most people don’t even register, understand, or know how to describe what they’re seeing. It’s an issue I’ve been seeing in a few of my fandoms the last few years.

Shonda Rhimes and the #diversity is what drew me in, but the storyline kept me watching. Looking forward to season 2.. The Duke will be missed ❤️

Why did I think that Julia Quinn was British??🙊🙊🙊. Her accent didn't bother me until like a light bulb went off.

What Americans don’t understand or know is in aristocratic and royal circles, there’s no differences amongst people. There’s only hierarchy. An African chief would send his son to university in England etc and he might’ve met a aristocratic lady and they would’ve probably get married etc etc and be patron’s of high society. It could’ve just have been a nobleman from India or China. It made no difference. Americans only see race thru their own politics sadly. It didn’t apply in the rest of the world

LOOOOOLLLL are you British? This is definitely not the case. You’re acting like racism doesn’t exist and it’s just classism. Absolutely not the case. Racism is so intrinsic to class and vice versa. Don’t act like people of colour were never treated as second class citizens in the uk because of their race

@@xbdandix Slavery didn’t exist on Crown lands. It was against English common law. Slavery did however exist in America mainly in the south, which off course wasn’t Crown land, because, you had an insurrection in 1776. It’s obvious your history is not taught properly .

If you wanna ask why the Duke left then invite Rege Jean Page on your stupid show and ask him yourself, instead of disrespecting Julia Quinn like this

My question for you is; if you are so concerned with respect, why are you so disrespectful yourself to those of us viewing and reading through the comments.
