Brilliant picking and tool!!! Love watching you pick these locks!! Looking forward to seeing the tool making 😀 Stay safe my friend Have a great weekend!!!! 🐾🐈🐾🐈👍😷
Thanks Chris, they are fantastic locks to pick open, the Abloy Classic pick tip are a little tricky to make but well worth the time. I will get the video ready for next week. Have a good one Chris. 👍
Thanks mate. I really appreciate it. These Abloy tips & tensioners are pretty tricky to make, but worth the time to be able to pick these fantastic locks. Have a great week Chris.
@@dazevers in excited, I probably won't be able to make one lol, but at least I'll have some directions And thats sometimes half the battle. Take care my friend 👋
Great job as always Daz 👍 Looking forward to the tool making video as well. Have seen a tool much like this made but forgot who showed it. If I had a lock like that I'd sure make one. Lot's of fun 👍🔓
Thank you so much my friend, I will have the video up next week. I hope it helps more people to get the tools to pick these fantastic locks. Have a great week my friend. 😎👍
Thanks Rune. I will upload a video soon on how I make my disc pick, & the Abloy tensioners & pick tip. I’ve not made one for the profile keyway yet, that’s my next project. Have a great weekend my friend.
Wow! Ablloy classic. Daz , you make that look much easier than it is. Simply brilliant! Homemade tool as well. Another great video. Have a great weekend
Thank you Bill I really appreciate it. They are wonderful locks to pick open, they really do give fantastic feedback a lot more than people expect. The most challenging part is to make a pick tip & tensioner to access the keyway. Have a great week Bill.
Thanks mate, they really are fantastic locks to pick. The pick tips are a little tricky to make but not too bad. I will get a video up next week. Have a great week. 👍
Great work, great picking and great vid Daz my friend, I´m very exciting about these locks and now I will be able to try to pick them thanks to you ;o)) Hope to have time soon to start with them, thanks for showing ;o)))))
Excellent picking skills again Daz. You made a very difficult lock to pick look easy. Some of the gates on the disks looked a bit curved and some flat (angled). Very nice job too on the home made pick. Looking forward to the making video. Thanks for sharing this lock with us.
Thanks Roy, they really do give great feedback, & a definite difference between the false & true gates, the biggest issue is getting the picking tip right. I will have the next video up sometime next week. Have a good one mate.
Thanks mate, i will get the video ready for next week to show how I make mine, so I hope it helps. The Abloy tips are a little tricky to make but worth the effort to be able to pick those awesome locks. Have a great week my friend.
@@dazevers ordered an abloy Kik cylinder and I'm still working on my set of tools ... My buddy rook knight got me into disc locks and I love em.. ohh yeah if I don't use too much more solder I'll be right around 3$ too.. that should be a challenge for people... The three dolla tool
Thanks mate. As you will see in my next video, I’ve designed the pick in such away that anyone can make one with the minimal amount of tooling. I will get the video up next week. Have a great week Wayne. 😎👍
Thanks mate I really appreciate it, I have a video going out later today on how I made this pick. It’s really easy & cheap to make. Have a great weekend my friend.
Very nice homemade DD pick👌 Would love to see the video on how you made it. I have a couple of profile cams with butterfly discs I'm struggling to make a tool for. Have a great day my friend👍😀✌️
Thanks mate, I will get the video ready for next week, & make sure I have as much info on the pick & picking tips/tensioners as poss. But if you need an specific question just email, I’m always here to help. Have a great week.
@@dazevers Really looking forward to the video😀 I'm finally getting around to making my own DD picks or modify my cheap Chinese ones. I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions along the way lol. Really appreciate your help and have a great week also✌️
Professional level video my friend as always, but that could not be said for Abloy, since I don't see the point of not putting all disks with false gates?!? I don't think that would increase the price of manufacuring.
Thanks mate, I was a little surprised to see that not all disc’s had False gates I must say. But I guess they think that getting the tools in the lock first was a big enough security feature.... not in my lab 😊 I hope you are well my friend, Have a great week. 👍
Thanks mate. The Abloy tips & tensioners are a little tricky to make but worth the time to be able to get these locks picked open. Have a great week mate.
Thanks my friend. I will get the video of how I made this pick uploaded this week. I’ll also go through this Abloy tip & tensioner. These locks are such fun to pick. Have a great week. 😎👍
The design of the pick tip & tensioner work an absolute treat, they are also great fun to made, even more so when these locks pop open easily :) . The profile pick that capt hook made works well to, I’ve made a different one than his, but of course they both get the job done. Thanks for watching & commenting I really appreciate it. Have a great weekend.
Great workmanship on the pick. One question what steel are you using for the picking tip? Or what’s the best steel to use? And great picking as always 👌
Hi mate, I’ve used Stainless & mild steel for the picking tips & found that the mild steel is by far the best, it’s a lot stronger. I get mild steel tube 6mm OD 4mm ID . The tensioner is made from a 4mm injector pin. I will get the video ready for next week with as much info in as poss. But if you have any specific questions just email mate. 👍 Have a great week
Great vid, thank you. If you could send me your mailing adress and your logo, I will gladly make you some stickers to thank you for all the lockpicking education you put on RU-vid.
Thanks my friend. Yes the tensioner is one piece, it’s made from a 4mm injector pin. You are probably right about the $3 it is probably more like $2, I will have a video up next week on how I make my DD pick & the Abloy tip & tensioner. Thanks for stopping by I really appreciate it, have a great week. 😎👍
@@dazevers right. The ejector pins. I make mine from rods and they are super annoying, was about to ask how you did it. Also just in materials that would be like $16 for me. You got a good source
Those 4mm ejector pins are truly fantastic & ideal for these tensioner. The picking tip I make from a bit of 6mm mild steel tube. admittedly they do take a bit of time to make, as yours do I guess, but well worth it to get these locks open. I will put as much info as poss into the video, but if you have any specific questions just ask. 👍
