Did you notice that there's only an invasion on election years? After election that talk disappears. Democrats came up with bipartisan border deals in 2006, 2014, 2018 and 2024. Republicans rejected them all. Republicans don't want to fix the border. They want to complain, rile up their base and campaign on immigration. Vote Biden/Blue they'll fix the border problem. It would have been fixed already but Trump didn't want another win for Biden. Mike Johnson wouldn't even bring the border deal to the House floor for a vote, because he knew they would pass the deal.
