"I saw Mr Yechury from the first day I started my political journey and I observed him quite carefully. What I found was a person who was flexible, who listened, who even was from opposite spectrum ideologically had the ability to understand where we were coming from and he also allowed us to understand from where he was coming from. He was a bridge in a sense between Congress and other parties in the INDIA alliance," says Congress MP Rahul Gandhi
The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
