To anyone who sees this, comic book collecting is a thing of love for comic books regardless if it’s superhero or non superhero comics, you want to have pieces of history same as what he said “once you have one you want all of them” also you will be surprise that there is a good market for selling comic books like if you have the right old comic book you’ll make a good buck trust me it’s crazy, but with any market you do have some people trying to scam you trying to lowball/highball you over what they are selling but it’s only very select few tho but still need to be careful at times, other than that it’s a dope thing to get into
I also suffer from the bug, I saw my friends comic book collection and I saw his Amazing Spider-man back issue I saw The Amazing-man # 50 “Spider-man no more” with the Romita cover my jaw dropped.
This is wild. I wonder what is his plan when he passes away. I have know people with huge collections (not on this level but big) and it can turn into a frenzy of vultures when they pass. Seen that happen several times. Never met this fella but I have been to HeroesCon and it's my favorite con of all the ones I've been to.
So you’re telling me that a comic book store owner and collector has a lot of inventory and personal comics? I thought he would have had a lot of baseball cards or hot wheel cars. Thanks for the insight
