I'm glad I came across a Douglas Murray video just last week. I've been watching everything I can with his commentary and Q&A's. His sound reasoning, level headed demeanor and brilliance are a breath of fresh air. Seriously reminds me of Christopher Hitchens, and without Hitchens we need more Douglas Murray's.

That UN rations are sold rather than freely distributed, that aid into Gaza is taxed, and all trucks delivering aid have their diesel tanks emptied, to fuel their efforts. Was looking forward to Murray’s response to that atrocious Jeremy Corbyn interview. No one who supports Palestine / is anti Israel can answer the most basic questions. They talk in circles. As usual, Murray calls it like it is. He’s clear, direct, to the point, and spit on. So refreshing.
People just don’t know their history. Palestine never ever was a legal state. It was a derogatory name given to the area because it never was able to be successfully colonised during the last 2000 years. The people of Palestine are a mixture of Arabs and Jews. In fact during an interview in the early seventies, Golda Meir said, she identifies herself as a Palestinian, yet being Jewish. There is never going to be a state of Palestine because it’s Israel.

Corbyn absolutely refuses to condemn his friends in Hamas. When it comes to Israel, Corbyn has plenty to say and lots of opinions, but when asked about Hamas he reverts to 'it's not for us to decide or have an opinon'. His bigotry is so blatant.

I disagree with a lot of what Murray says, but I love how well he articulates his points. With Peterson I suspect I disagree with a lot of it, but I'm often not sure because he spends so much time waffling on about bullshit without getting to the point.

well said , the other reality we know now , is even if Arafat had excepted the the 2 state solution , it is very likely that the West Bank would have just become another Gaza . Run by Hamas . People conveniently forget history that Hamas wiped out the Palestinian Authority and Fatah with in 2 years of taking over Gaza in 2006 . So it is most likely the situation would have been similar if the west Bank was a separate state . While there is islamic beliefs that Israel should not exist , The 2 state solution is impossible .
It's only impossible because Arafat (and others of his ilk) can always be relied upon to reject it. They got Jordan in 1948 - land that was originally earmarked for Israel. Why has everyone forgotten about that?
One of my grandfathers fought against the Japanese in the 2nd world war and he used to put it this way; "The Arabs have had nearly 2000 years to make something of the land of the Israelis, and they have done nothing. The Israelis have, in the period of time since 1948, made a prosperous, functioning nation that is contributing to the world." Taking that into account along with Israel's continual offers of land and peace to the so called state of Palestine, only to be continually rejected should speak volumes. But we here in the West are too stupid and have too short a memory to see what's what here, and apparently are also unwilling to acknowledge it. Ah well, what do you do? 🤷😔
