This is not true. The barrel is only 23 inches in diameter, and that is not a factor for the competitors. As an example, I can share with you that we have a dwarf competing in our organization, and his arm reaches across the barrel just fine. These competitors are inexperienced, and that is why they are having difficulty. The barrel is the same for every fight, and always will be. Just like the hoop is that the same height in all NBA games, regardless of the height of the competitors.

I think the main thing was he just had to get used to slapping over Bouncer's shoulder. He got there eventually.

@@slapfightchampionship It's a huge factor. He has to reach up, and he also is stood 8 inches back because of his enormous gut. Add in his tiny little arms ... the only way he can reach is by lifting his heels to lean in.

Exactly what I was thinking

This was the final of a double elimination tournament. No one backed out. The competitors in this fight were too injured to continue and so the winners of the losers bracket advance to the final. I do not believe we have had any super heavy weights back out of fights.

No, his job is to serve as lead official and referee during the matches. He is responsible for calling flinches and clubs from the back side. There are two other judges one watching feet and one watching from the other side. He is definitely not there to explain things to the slappers and recommend penalties to the judges.

@@Elephant_Juice74 Understood, but putting the referee in the position of just someone who explains the rules, with no power to penalize, is a horrible idea. The judges do not have authority to call penalties, so for the referee to recommend penalties to them would do nothing. The judges only come in to play if the fight goes to completion, and the scorecards are needed for review. It is the job of the three officials to call the penalties. If they truly need an explanation of the rules at the point of the contest, then they have made a series of very bad decisions, and it’s not going to be a good night. Lol. Seems you may be confused. Power Slap hired our champions to train their contestants. Dana White announced publicly many times that this league was the inspiration for Power Slap. Not to mention that they have adopted our rules and regulations, and hired our CEO as consultant for their league. Turns out it’s Power Slap that is learning from us. Hopefully you can do the same.

Unfortunately the knock down at the end of the fight was earned with an illegal strike, so it does not count. The judges scorecards showed Full Freq landed very few legal slaps and the bouncer was the winner by unanimous decision

The Bouncer was knocked down by an illegal slap, therefore it counts AGAINST Full Freq, rather than in his favor. He lost by decision when the Bouncer returned to the barrel within the 60 seconds allowed.

@@slapfightchampionship I'm just a little confused, I understand that Full Freq got a penalty from the KO and that Bouncer got back up within the 60 sec but Bouncers slap was a penalty as well doesnt it kind of cancel out?

@@justinscott4484 At the end of the match, the judges calculate how many legal slaps were thrown, and how many penalties were earned by each competitor. In this particular case there were many penalties and the knock down did not count because it was illegal. So bouncer won by a very small margin.
