It is nothing good about this law and black people. Dismantling the black family by any means has been part of the gov agenda since the birth of this nation. When it comes to other races, there’s a decline in fathers but not at the rate of black people, and the other races are going to be just as bad off if they don’t learn from the black community of what not to do, don’t let the government trick you out of being with your family.

That explains Donalds conservative views. West Indians are for the most part judgemental of Black Americans, homophobic, and sexists rit large. Not all but I am pretty sure it wont be hard to do a poll and collect some empirical data on this. I grew up in this community and that has been what I experienced 98% of the time.

I don't think you know the the culture. Lots of ignorance on either side. Someone knows 1-3 people from a group and that's the sample size to judge the group. Yes, they will express their opinion, harshly. As far as race and the unity of black people, Jamaicans have been beating this drum for centuries. That's one of the reasons MLK visited Jamaica so many times. Jamaica is one of the first countries to pushback against apartheid. Hence, Jamaica was the first country the Great Nelson Mandela visited when got his freedom. Marcus Garvey is the epitome of the the average Jamaican on these issues.

Joy's answer wasn't wholly accurate. Despite obstacles, some Black people (men) in America were allowed to vote in 1789. Before Jim Crow disruption, other Black men were permitted in1870. American Black women in 1920.
